 Spent two nights at Millsike Lea as we needed to stay in the area. The site is on the outskirts of the village. It is basic but does have a flushing toilet in a portacabin, the fresh water can be found next to the wardens caravan. The camping area is a large, mainly flat, sheltered field. It is next to a road but it is not very busy and is used a lot by cyclists. The area is good for cyclists due to The White Rose Cycle Route. It is possible to walk into village from a footpath at the rear of the site.
Stamford bridge has a good selection of services which includes two pubs, both serve food, Chinese/Indian/pizza takeaways & a well stocked Co-op shop. There is also a bus stop in the village with buses going into York.
Great price of £8 per night for 2 adults & a dog.
