We visited this Adult only site from the 6th August and stayed longer than intended until the 12th August purely because it was so good.
To access the site you first drive through a smaller section containing their blueberry growing venture and then through the farm gate which can be closed if you like a secure feeling.
The site itself is of good size 3/4 acre of gently sloping grass surrounded by mature high hedge rows alive with birdsong. The very bottom part contained an empty pig enclosure, recently vacated, and a small chicken coop (no cockerel) which we found quite entertaining.
The pitches which are all grass are to the right hand side, well spaced, each with individual power points. At the top of the field close to the farm gate entrance there is a water point and an enclosed waste disposal point.
Within walking distance there is we gather a bistro pub of high standard and price to match but within about 2 miles in the next village we found a pub, The Chestnut, which did good food and good beer at a reasonable price.
Within easy reach you have Stowmarket, Lavenham (fantastic Tudor houses a bit further is Bury st Edmunds and Woodbridge with the Sutton Hoo trasure site etc.
All in all a nice site in nice surroundings with plenty to do and best of all peace and quiet. We shall no doubt be returning.
