When we arrived there was no one to greet us. We pitched our tents and had to find the Office to check in. The person we needed to see was in the bar.
Next year we will be going to RIAT again. We will not be staying on this campsite again. I know the camping ground is a Football Ground. There was one dirty toilet, no sink, toilet roll on the floor.
We found this site to be noisy after 22:00 with young children shouting as well as the Adults. Car Radio with the volume turned up after dark.
I can safely say this is one of the worst campsites I have stayed on.
This is a small site about a 10 minute walk by a country path into the center of Fairford. The entrance to the sit is down a unmade lane but we had no trouble with gaining entry with a FC. Fairford has several good pubs with real ale and good 'pub grub' and also more upmarket fare. The site it self is open during the Football closed season as the camping area is on a football training pitch, which obviously makes it a flat site. The site is surrounded on 3 sides by mature trees and is in a very quite location. There is no EHU but water and chemical toilet waste disposal is available. The club showers and toilets are available for use of campers and are clean. The site also has a licence club which depending on time of the week is open. If anyone was arranging a small rally I suppose the use of the club site could probably be arranged as we found the members to be friendly when we stayed. Overall it's in a nice location for visiting the Cotswolds. It's also handy for the church which as the best medieval glass in a church in England, look out for the Red Devil!
