We went back!. For 3 weeks this time. Fantastic relaxing time. This time went to Gardaland which the kids (3 and 7) loved. Also visited Bergamo which was superb.
Word must be spreading as there were 2 other English families on site whilst we were there.
Our older child loved the children's activities put on by the site. Kids made lots of Italian and Dutch friends. Great atmosphere on site. We were remembered by several campers from our stay 2 years before and greeted like long lost friends.
Facilities as immaculate as last time,
Looking into buying an old tourer to leave out there to give us the option of fly drive or driving quicker overnight. Lots of the Dutch do this as they want to tow boats down instead. Local storage company will bring and collect a caravan from the pitch.

Had a fantastic 2 weeks here.
One of the cheaper (everything is relative!) sites on Lake Garda.
Direct access to the lake. Slipway for launching boats.
Superb facilities, two pools. Swimming hats have to be worn in the pool. They're available for a reasonable price from the campsite shop.
Sanitary blocks deep cleaned every day. Site was full with pitches changing over literally in minutes but didn't queue for any facilities once. Never ran out of hot water. No additional charges.
Pitches a good size, certainly bigger than the dimensions described on their website. Plenty of room for our folding camper with awning, table and chairs outside and our car on the pitch. Most guests manage to squeeze a boat or two on theirs as well.
First week we were there 99% of guests were Dutch, slightly greater mix of nationalities the second week but still a significant Dutch majority. No other English on site the whole time we were there!
Kiddies club every day. Young children's disco from 2000 to 2030 each night. Same songs, same actions everyday but the kids loved it.
We were a little concerned before we arrived about the site's proximity to Gardaland, but this proved completely unfounded. No noise or any other disturbance was caused. Except for the signs from the main road you wouldn't know it was there.
We'll definitely be going back.
