 Spent one night here whilst en route to the Welsh coast, the site is basically a field alongside the busy main road (which is very noisy) with a few EHU points (payment via cards from the pub) There were 3 other caravans on site which looked unoccupied and like they'd been left to rot for a few years, there is an old tin shed with basic toilet & shower facilities- not overly clean though. The site belongs to the adjacent (2 pubs) ! The Halfway House Inn had good real ales, basic food and seemed to be very much a locals pub, The Severn Stars only opens on special occasions. In summery I would say cheap & cheerful.

Called in at this pub on a Wednesday evening on the off chance of staying on our way to Welshpool. The owner were very agreeable and there were no problems with not pre booking.
Cost was £5 for the pitch and we could choose where we camped, the field is mostly flat and backs on to the pub garden on one side and has the main road on the other, there is quite a bit of noise from the road through the night.
The toilets were basic but in the process of being upgraded, there were no showers available but these were being fitted at time we stayed.
Pub offer good basic food at very reasonable prices, and well kept beer.
Would we stay there again - probably if we were passing through.
