Receptionist was businesslike and a bit brusque at first. A very large site which was full at Easter weekend.
The owner showed us to our pitch down a steep hill which was next to two old and redundant caravans. We felt as though we were next to the scrapyard!
We had concerns about towing back up but it wasn’t a problem. Indoor facilities not heated. The toilet, basin and shower are in one cubicle and the fixed showers spray everywhere. No toilet paper or hand dryer/paper towel provided but there is soap. Indoor washing up and handwashing facilities.
There is a restaurant on site open in the evening and a bar/cafe which provides breakfast and lunch, also an on site shop which is quite expensive. We stayed for a week. Launderette facilities are at the top and cost E4 to use the machines.
Plenty of facility blocks which were all open. Cleaning seems to be done by hosing everything down. The facilities are fairly basic and in need of updating.
There is a pool complex which appears to be open to the public as well as on site in season. Sport facilities with pitches for ball games, table tennis and boules plus a chidrens play area.
Cars have to be left in the car park above the site.

Touring caravans are squeezed in in the most unattractive pitches at the bottom of a very steep hill. Sites rental cabins fill all the most attractive pitches. Pitches are also small
Despite the steep hill and explaining that I have walking difficulties due to Motor Neurone Disease( and the lady in reception understood perfectly, her English was faultless, ) the grumpy and frankly unpleasant owner flatly refused to allow us to take our car down to our pitch and insisted on it being left on the (insecure) car park at the top of the hill. There was plenty of room as (unsurprisingly!) there were lots of empty pitches,
Effectively leaving me marooned in the caravan.
Thankfully we only stayed one night.
The only positive comment I have to make is that the shower/ toilet block was clean and everything worked.
Would not recommend it to anyone and certainly unsuitable for anyone with even minor mobility issues or for anyone with children.

Used this campsite for a one night stop, but would be handy for staying longer to visit the thermal spas, Parma, and cheese region that is all close. For 1 night for a family of 4 in Italy (with electric) the price was 39 euros which was probably our cheapest site in Italy. Site is about 8 miles off the motorway.
Enter the site through a barrier and you then go down a very steep hill, which we were concerned about towing back up again but turned out to be unduly worried. Pitches are big, with 3amp electricity.
There is shop with all the necessities, plus a bar and restaurant.
The main attraction here is the 4 outdoor swimming pools, all of varying sizes, one with a diving board, plus water slide (11 goes for 3. 50 euros). The pools are open to the public but the campsite has a private entrance.
Toilet block contained for 6 small rooms, all with toilet, basin and shower inside. Washing up and cloth washing facilities.
My only slight complaint is that cars were not allowed on the pitch and had to remain in the car park, but we found that quite common in Italy.
