 Just stayed here for 2 nights. Very quiet (we were the only ones there!) A small field behind the pub for 5 caravans/motorhomes. We chose a pitch 'off grid' (£12 per night)with a view right across the valley. I think there was hook up for 2 vans. The facilities are very basic and the toilets are only open from about 7. 30am to 11pm as they are in the pub. The grass was slightly long but there was no grass cuttings to carry into the van, which is a plus for us. Pub menu was very extensive and averagely priced.
Very convenient for Salisbury (market days are Tuesday and Saturday), there is park and ride at Petersfingers which is only 7 miles away. It was £3. 50 return for the 2 of us, so took all the hassle out of finding parking in the town. It is also worth taking a tour around the small villages around Salisbury. Good walking area but would not recommend cycling as hilly!.

This is an excellent little campsite ready made for a few tents and the odd campervan or caravan. Sitting right behind the pub in the small village of Whiteparish, the site offers a lovely south facing view of a beautiful, typical English countryside vista. The pub is an excellent addition with Paul and Lorraine being wonderful and very friendly hosts supported by a good team. A wide choice of pub food proved to be very good value with sizeable portions, and all complimented by a full range of drinks plus some well kept real ales. The lack of any showers and no access to the loos from about midnight to 0700 do not detract from this gem of a site. If you want peace and quiet, easy access to the countryside including the New Forest, and a friendly pub on the doorstep plus a village shop just a 5 minute walk down the road, you would be hard pushed to find somewhere better than this. Suitable for hardy and novice campers.

We stayed at this camp site last weekend and the owners couldn't have been friendlier.
The site was quiet with nice views and the pub on-site is a definite bonus with reasonably priced food and drinks. The village has a a well-stocked shop and another pub and although it's on a main road there was no noise in the camp site.
There were swings and a climbing frame for children and plenty of space to play.
We will definitely return!
We were able to use the pub toilets, which were very clean - a shower would be great but not essential for a short stay like ours.
