Just spent two nights on this site. The pitches are in a small grassy field which does get soft and muddy after rain.
Toilet block was a newly converted cabin which was spotless with a lovely hot shower. Only problem was that the shower curtain didn't keep the water inside the tray so was left with lots of mopping up.
Site is a pleasant though lumpy two mile walk into Buxton.
The owner was very friendly
We paid £20 night and EHU was charged on a meter. We ended up paying £5 for the two nights.
There's not much for children other than the Great British Countryside.
The site is currently being improved with Hard Standings being created.

This is a great little site we originally booked a 7 night stay and extended to 9 nights.
The site is a small grass field with lovely scenic views of fields and farmland.
The hosts are helpful and very friendly (even when you short change them like my husband almost did :))
There is hard standing available in the farms courtyards if needed but we had great weather and enjoyed the views from the field.
The toilet and shower facilities are modern and spotless.
The walk across the fields to Buxton takes around 45 minutes and is an enjoyable walk.
The site is lovely and peaceful. We would also recommend buying some eggs. We will definitely be booking to stay again.
Very good value for the site fees of £20 per night.

What a fantastic campsite, friendly communicative owners who were really helpful and gave us a hand with a problem on our trailer.
The location was beautiful and would come back again if in the area.

Ideal location. Short walk over a couple of fields to reach roads into Buxton. Really quiet site.
Hard standing is literally a part of the farm yard overlooking fields. One toilet/shower room.
Will definitely stay again

On arrival we were directed to a hard standing pitch that was so close to other vans, it felt like being in a small cramped car park. There are electric hookups. The field available looked ok, but we had just been to two lovely sites and could not bear to stay in this lack lustre site, even in the field. Its right in the middle of a working farm/stables. It is close to Buxton, but it would be quite/very difficult to get to Buxton on public transport from there. Did not use facilities as we paid and left.

Just returned from this little 5 cl site. Is fab little site, owners very friendly and helpful. 1 toilet and 1 shower but very clean and showers lovely and hot.
Site is very clean, Quite level on grass and electric hookups for 5 pitches.
Central to all locations around. But do not enter site from coming on the A6 road divert to A515 Rd to come in on as the other way not suitable.
Will definitely visit again next year.
We paid £12 p. N which included awning and elect. Is £10. P. N if no awning. Fab little site well worth the visit. Oh I believe is a CC members only site. Nothing for the kids though on site.
