Booked with previous owner, now owned by Clico Chico/Capfun chain. Was well run now it dreadful. Told on check in that hadn’t paid balance so paid again; upon checking bank account saw that I had paid. Over a month later still awaiting refund.
Shop and restaurant (where all the board games are) now run by separate contractor who opens infrequently and is expensive and poor quality when it is open.
Outside bins overflowing and not emptied in our six day stay; attracting wasps. Reception and toilets full of cobwebs and staff full of excuses promising better for next season!
A previous four star campsite that had return guests now the worst campsite we stayed at in seven weeks away. Do not book unless you want to be disappointed.
Good points - location and views, local restaurants and shops were good.

Beautiful setting, off the beaten track if you were heading north or south on the Peage (about 30 min), but ideal if you wanted a quiet week away.
The facilities are excellent but the services are not, hard to find water points, had to resort to the motorhome water point (in the hedge), found out as we were packing up that the water point was next to the electric point.
The black water disposal is right next to the urinal! There are two facilities both are clean and well looked after, a good play are and what looked like a lovely pool area. We had a pleasant meal in the restaurant.
They do a morning bread service if you order the night before. We were pitched in a shady spot which was lovely this hot June. Visited lovely medieval monastic town of Cluny and the beautiful Chateau de Cormatin

Just back from this excellent well located site around 35km west of Macon in southern Burgundy.
Site owners Philippe and Fabienne very welcoming and could not do enough for you.
Stayed in mobile home which was excellent and spotlessly clean.
Pitches are in the main hedged and very good size.
All looked to have EHU and site appeared popular with touring Dutch visitors in both campers and caravans.
Large outdoor pool and indoor heated pool looked nice but we didn't use either.
Reception with small shop and bread could be ordered daily.
Restaurant was open whilst we were there and both the food and wine were great and excellent value for money.
Overall this site really was hard to fault.
Would be a good base to discover this region and its vineyards. Approx 30 mins to Macon and 90km or 60 mins to Lyon - both well worth a visit.
Not the nearest site to the A6 for an overnight stopover but certainly worth considering if time is not against you.
Takes ACSI card and camping card out of season.

We had a lovely holiday at this friendly holiday park.
I'd suggest booking early to get a pitch with a view. We missed out. The site is on a hill with amazing panoramic views.
The owners are friendly and speak English.
They lay on some social events, like a firework display and a social at the bar. Also a children's club. But very low key, not noisy at pitches.
The pool and water slide were much enjoyed by our girls. But beware, the edge of the pool has deteriorated and is rather sharp. Pool next to bar, so can buy ice cream and beer by pool.
We hired a fridge for 5€ a day which was the greatest luxury. Rather awkward reaching electric hook up, down to lower terrace through undergrowth.
Toilet blocks very good, with toilet seats, toilet paper, and hand wash provided. Even shower gel in showers!
Good washing up facilities including a dishwasher!
There's a restaurant bar that we didn't eat at. Apart from some takeaway chips on arrival that were very poor and pricey.
Worth ordering bread and croissants night before at reception.
10 minute walk into village to 2 boulangerie, butcher and mini supermarket.
Otherwise about 15 miles to bigger supermarkets.
Beautiful area.
Enjoyed locally produced fresh goat's cheese.
Definitely recommended.
