All that has been said before in the previous review, can be acknowledged. The site caters for families very successfully.
The site mini bus which can drop you off in Fiano Romano (bit of a ghost town with not much going for it and seemed rather run down, although with a bit of exploring we did find the Old Town with a bit of character)is very handy and the site provide an excellent pick up service - you just ring up reception and the driver is sent to pick you up, arriving within 5 mins of the call being made. There are some restrictions on the drop off times but we felt they were overall very flexible and we used the service several times to get into Fiano to stock up on supplies. There was a Carre Four Supermarket and we also found the M. D. Discount store mentioned in the previous review. The camp shop was expensive and particularly short of meat products.
The site also had various excursions available and we did the 'Rome for the day' trip - excellent service again with reliable drop off and pick up. Very handy for Rome - about 45 mins away. There were other excursions to Pompeii etc but seemed very expensive so we gave them a miss.
Pitches were not level and shallow tree roots seemed to be a problem on some touring pitches. Levelling our motorhome was tricky and access to the motorhome service point was not easy - you had to go out of the site entrance/ drive and it appeared as though not many people actually used it, despite there being other campers/ motorhomes on the site.
When on site, it felt very much like a holiday camp with lots of entertainment/noise but probably ideal for young families.
Quite isolated, with not much else going on around the area so, you can understand why the site lay on so many activities. After 5 days, it all seemed repetitive and although the Ents Team worked hard, 5 days was plenty long enough for us.
Good for families but, we would not use it again.

Excellent family site we booked through the Caravan Club for 7 nights.
The site is 40 minutes drive from the centre of Rome. The site organises various coach trips to Rome (can recommend the Rome at Night trip) and to Pompei. Alternatively you can take the local free shuttle bus into the local town and investigate that.
There was organised daily and evening activities for children, plus aquagym twice a day for all ages. There was an entertainment team that spoke very good English.
Restaurant and bar was very reasonable, also did take-aways.
Excellent 2 x swimming pools – one rectangle shaped for swimming and another large circular paddling pool made from non-slip rubber matting making it very safe – the only slippery part of the pool was the waterslide which was popular with young and old! It also had a small tunnel in the centre of the pool to crawl through.
Toilet/shower block was very clean and were plenty so never had to queue. Washing machines, clothes washing sinks and dishwashing sinks available.
Shop had all the basic necessities plus a gift /bazaar shop if not a little pricey.
The site would be ideal for disabled/wheel chair users as all the facilities were catered for this.
The pitches could do with a bit more shade as in August it did reach 42 degrees most days. They however were large for an Italian site and fairly easy to access if you avoided the lamp posts and made it up the high kerbs. If you do not like a lot of noise then avoid a pitch by the restaurant as the evening kids entertainment can get somewhat irritating and avoid pitches by the pool as extremely loud music for the aquagym twice daily can get a bit repetitive.
The site does quite a lot of hire tents/chalets for various holiday companies.
Site has a barrier which you show your ticket to as you enter for good security.
A great family fun site, ideal for visiting Rome, but not a lot around off site to do.
For food shopping, the supermarkets we found were very expensive until we found a shop called (its well signposted in Fiano Romano) M D Discount – sort of like a Lidl and that was half the price.
Will certainly revisit if we visit Rome again in the future.
