 Medium sized campsite in the Stuttgart area. Close to the autobahn (but far enough to be noise free) on the edge of woodland with some pretty walks and cycle tracks. Brand new toilet/shower block which is very well appointed. Friendly welcome. We were just there as an overnight stop so were put on a set of hard standings near the entrance. A comfortable overnight stop on our way to Croatia.

We stayed at Camping Aichelberg as a stopover both to and from our trip to Bavaria. This site is a perfect stopover for us, situated not far from Stuttgart, only a couple of minutes from the A8 junction 58, handily placed for stopovers to southern Germany, Austria + Italy.
We found the staff and owners to be very helpful, for our stopovers we were pitched in a hard-standing area with electric, so we could virtually stay hitched up and had a very easy departure.
The toilet + shower block is brand new, great facilities, some of the very best we've come across. We ate in the small camp site restaurant on one of our nights, good simple reasonably priced food.
I can't comment much on the surrounding area as ours was a flying visit but there are supermarkets not too far away + we found an Italian restaurant that does good take away pizzas within 10 minutes drive.
I would thoroughly recommend this site and will return.
