This site is very well located on the outskirts of Siena. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the facilities are clean and modern.
It is a bit price but that's to be expected given it's location. The Italian system seems to be 'pay for what you use', so you pay for the tent, number of people, electric hook up, car etc. So if there are quite a few people in your group, it can work out expensive.
There is a fair bit of road noise from Siena late into the night and early in the morning. It's made worse by the topography (Siena is on one side of a steep valley, the site is on the other) but you soon get used to it.
We used the on site pizza restaurant and bar a couple of times because it's convenient and the food and service here was as good as anywhere else. In fact we never had a poor meal anywhere during our stay.
The swimming pool is closed by October which seems strange if you're from the UK. Day time temperatures where in the high 20's, hot than it gets most of the time during the summer in the UK. Although, you probably wouldn't want to use it as the surrounding area is very beautiful and deserves to be seen.
Siena is a lovely city. The historic centre is just 1. 5 miles from the site. You can walk or catch a bus from just outside the campsite. It's much better than Florence or Pisa and it's ideally located for trips to other Tuscan locations/countryside.
We stayed at the beginning of October and the weather was fine, warm and sunny every day. But the temperature does drop a bit at night. I had a 6am start one morning and drove up into the hills (Gaiole in Chanti) for a bike race and the temperature dropped to 4 degrees! It was 10 degress at this site. You may want to consider this if booking other sites at a higher altitude outside of peak season.

Modern campsite with good facilities.
Staff friendly and helpful
Large pitches.
Reasonably priced internet.
Colleverde is very convenient for the wonderful city of Siena with a regular bus service to Siena from near the gates.
Large supermarket 1km away – downhill if you’re walking!
Sister site in San Gimignano and if travelling to stay there pick up a 10% discount voucher.
Grass pitches are a bit away from the chemical waste disposal point.

Have now stayed on this site a couple of times in the last 4 years. It is a perfect base for siena as there is a bus stop across the road. This year it was 1 euro 10 per trip and you can get tickets at reception.
The site itself is massive and we hadn't booked as we hadn't originally intended to stay here but there was plenty of space and we chose our own pitch. It is very hilly and there was a dreadful smell of clutch by the time I was finished driving around! We were using our tent but we have a twin axle and there's no way I would contemplate using this site with it as the entrance is tight enough and steep and any suitable pitches would be on unshaded gravel.
On the plus side the pool is great, there's plenty of room and you can park by your pitch and the toilets are spotless(although it seemed to take about 2 hours in the middle of the afternoon to clean them which was really frustrating!) English is spoken at reception and there's a big COOP quite close to the site.
However I think this site is very expensive at least for larger parties. We paid 75 euros a night for myself and 4 teenagers. Yes the proximity to Siena is great and check-in is slick and facilities good but I've paid half of that on sites offering just as much!
Incidentally you are required to leave ID at reception for the duration of your stay-don't leave your passport if you're intending to use Visa in shops as you're often asked for it.

Stayed for one night. Didn't find much 'charm' about this site.
It is set on a fairly steep hillside, though no views, and just on the outskirts of the city, but still within totally built up area.
The services, as mentioned by Suemcnic, are all good, and the restaurant is excellent.
Pitches vary considerably in size. The furthest down the hill are very large (Sector 13), and would accommodate any sized rig, though they offer little shade.
This is a perfect location from which to 'do' Siena, as you will be out most of the day. It's not cheap.
The bus service (on the doorstep) into town is very useful. And, of course, Siena is a 'must see' in that part of Italy.

Stayed here for a week using as a base for Siena and touring Tuscany. ASCI availble in low season.
Excellent faciities with new shower/toilet block, modern laundry facilities and 16 amp power. WiFi available.
Outdoor pool (no shade) and play area for children.
Gravel base pitches for caravans and motorhomes. Reasonable size pitches although would have struggled if we had had a large awning. Shade for pitches varied. Although we reserved a pitch, we were able to pick our own pitch to ensure we had shade.
Excellent restaurant and bar on site. Small supermarket for fresh bread and other items.
Local bus service available outside site to Siena.
