Great basic site away from the crowds, Simon was extremely helpful and always around to offer help or just chat to.

Clean basic shower and toilet facilities.

Family friendly with lots of friendly campers enjoying the naturist lifestyle.

Close enough to Corfe and Swanage for days out and just across the ferry from Poole.

It is on a hill but with a bit of thought with positioning you can make your tent relatively level.

This was my first visit to SSC and I will return.

Simon is a very friendly & helpful host, he communicated promptly, both before and during my stay.

The site was easy to find from the directions available online and has a great rural & open aspect. The camp field does slope but this shouldn’t affect the pitching if your tent.

There are two showers with instant hot water, two urinal toilets (1 standing & 1 sitting), plus a composting toilet and a traditional water flushing toilet. Showers & toilets were clean and maintained & plenty of water supply taps around the site. I did miss an electric hook up option, to help charge a mobile phone etc, but not enough to prevent my returning to SSC.

A traditional rustic & friendly mixed naturist site, with helpful campers who came to my aid after I flattened my car battery, so a big thank you to them too.

The site is ideally located for Studland beach and also for shops in Swanage, both a 10 to 15 min drive away.

Hope to return in the very near future.

Because of last minute covid issues in Bedford the people in area was initially told not to leave the county and I had to contact the site to advise them of this. the response was great and I was refund my deposit I had great communication with them and definitely book as soon as I can to go

I can not comment on the site itself as I did not go but Owner great to deal with thanks

Very basic but very friendly site. Warm welcome, plenty of cups of tea being offered and invitation to join around the fire in the yurt that evening. Very family orientated with children running around as well as older long term campers there for the summer.

Finding this site was a challenge! It's actually about a mile further west of where the location map says on this website. But what a location! Nestled into the lee of the downs in a secluded field, you really fell you're getting away from it all.

The welcome I got was very genuine and put me at ease, and the whole campsite has an extremely relaxed vibe. It's back to basics camping with two showers and loos in the corner of the field. There is a yurt with a campfire in the middle and I was invited to join the communal gathering in the evening round the fire - all part of the ambience!

The only downside is that £14 per head is a bit steep for a pretty basic site (given that less than a mile away the Railway Campsite at Harmans Cross is £5 per person). But overall the whole experience is very chilled - I only wish I had longer to stay. I can see why people return again and again and become regulars and known to the owners.

Very narrow road leading to the entrance, especially at this time of year with all greenery in full growth.

Site is on a slope, however if positioned carefully, not too bad.

This was our first attempt at camping for 15 years, with a vintage tent which was only purchased the week prior to visiting.

On arrival Roger showed us where to erect our tent and within a very few minutes, Peter had come over to assist in settling us in by helping put our tent up.

We found this to be a very friendly site, with many returnee campers, some of whom had been coming 20 plus years.

The showers need to be given time to run through the pipework and settle at one temperature before starting to fiddle with the temp control knob, but okay. Toilets were clean and tidy.

We wanted somewhere nice and quiet and this is exactly that, even though there were families with young children, the atmosphere and volume at all times was peaceful and serene. As the adjacent road is not used a great deal this again keeps the noise level down.

We had good weather whilst there, which helped in having a positive experience.

Would we come again, yes, but maybe some time due to other commitments (work etc, bummer)

Took some finding. Maybe my fault. Hottest day of the year. Roger did not lose his cool when I kept phoning him for directions. Enjoyed my days there, this was all new for my wife being from the Ukraine. She thought all the people where really friendly. All services where great[this is field camping]. 30 minutes walk to Corfe and Swanage 10min drive. You can get basics from nearby farms and sites. Who wants organised FUN. Had a small stroke at xmas so this summer I might be a bit grumpier.

Very Friendly Site. I have been here many times over the years. Site moved to a new field a couple of years ago. This field is even better as it is better drained and the toilet is now a flush one.

Many regulars return year after year and are always available to give advice about the area and where is good to eat and drink.

Evenings are spent around the camp fire should you choose chatting laughing and having a joke

Brilliant Fun

The site is close to Studland Beach it being just a short drive away.

Just past Knaveswell Farm well past Knitson

Secluded

Roger runs a great site :)
