We fancied an afternoon at the beach on our way home so picked this one out of a hat.
A reasonable choice, quite a convoluted layout (the clue's in the name) and you will probably need the map provided, or a phone, to find the sanitaires, which are quite adequate if a little dated- the refurb mentioned in the 2014 review doesn't seem to have happened.
Bray-Dunes is a great little place, with a good beach, Art Nouveau promenade and a couple of great bars- Chez Antoine is worth a mention, with La Civette a street back.
€28.40 for tent+2. Bring your boules.

Just to add that the Maire in Bray Dunes are about to undertake a major refurbishment of the Municpal
There will be a dedicated Aires area c/w Bourne
There is even talk of the rates going down for 2015. But don't hold your breath
The site has a large number of residential 'Park Homes' and so it's quiet at night
Security gate is controlled by a swipe card; so if you've got an early ferry remember to gate your vehicle out before leaving the card in the letter box!
There's a small Play Area for kids but I don't think that it would keep many kids amused for too long
The Beach is a matter of 5 minutes walk from the site

We stayed here for 2 nights in snow. The site is mainly statics with about 5 touring pitches, grass but well drained.
There are a few shops and restaurants within 2 minutes walk. And a carrefour within a five minute walk.
The reception staff don`t speak much English
Lovely site, large pitches communal heated hot showers. Very near to beach.
Only downside price
At 28 Euros a night far too expensive very near Dunkerque for the ferry and about an hour from Calais

We were aiming for Camping Perroquet and ended up at this Municipal
We had a decent sized pitch, large enough for a 7m Motorhome and a car trailer
There seems to be a lot of residential Statics on this site. There were lot of what I took to be retired people playing Boules every night but by 7. 30pm they'd packed up and didn't cause any trouble.
The showers are included in the price and are spotless; probably the best I have seen. They look a bit old fashioned but there's plenty of hot water although at the height of the Season I could imagine that they'd get a bit crowded.
I seem to remember having to get tokens from a machine in reception for the showers
The site is well placed for people to walk into Bray Dunes.
Bray Dunes is a smallish seaside town. The tale-away Chippy seemed to be the busiest place in town.
I can't remember the name of the restaurants but they are nothing to write home about. One of them managed to nause up frozen chips so I leave the rest to your imagination
There is a security gate that is controlled by a card. As far as I can make out, there seems to be an 11pm curfew. Anyway we were not disturbed by traffic moving about.
Bray Dunes is well situated if you are planning a jaunt to Tobacco Alley at Adinkerke
There is a Vet at Ghyvelde - 55 rue Nationale,
59254 Ghyvelde 03 28 58 20 99 and this was the main reason that we stayed in Bray Dunes was to get our dog checked out before returning to the UK via the Eurotunnel. M. Delissen, the Vet, spoke enough English and did not over charge
