 Spent two nights at this excellent Stellplatz for the second year running.
Location
Large motorhome park situated above the mountaineering centre of Garmish. This is a brilliant area for cycling, walking and climbing. The lift to the mountain top goes from the site, where you'll find a nice bar and great views. Zugspitz, Germany's highest mountain is also accessible from town.
Facilities
Modern and spotlessly clean and tidy facilities. There's a small bar and shop on site.
Value for Money
€12 per night, EHU and showers at a small extra cost.
Highly recommended!

Location:
This site is in a brilliant location, set in one of the best spots in the German Alps and at the foot of a cable car to a great mountain top.
The site has excellent opportunities for outdoor activities such as hill walking, via ferrata and cycling. Skiing centre in winter. Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a lovely town, with great bars, restaurants and good shops.
Facilities:
Plenty of showers and toilets, all of which are spotlessly clean. Showers are charged 50 cents. There's a bar/restaurant on site, lots of electric and water points and staff speak excellent English. Wifi connection available for a small charge.
Costs:
About 12 euros per night for motorhome + 2 adults. Great site; great value. Additional costs include: metered electric and small charge for water.
