 Beautifully kept site. Level with plenty of space. View (through the trees)of the Stour estuary. No showers, just toilets which were old but spotless. Friendly manager, not on site but a call away should we have needed anything. Pub two doors along which has been renovated with new managers, excellent food and friendly service but shut on Mondays. Roads looked a little challenging for biking due to being narrow but we walked for two hours to Flatford Mill, well worth it. Good walking from site. Buses every hour to Manningtree but it seems only one per day back again. Would definitely go again and recommend highly

A great level field with a decent amount of space. Sunny pitches with some overlooking the Stour estuary. Pleasant walk from the site to the estuary banks takes about twenty minute at my pace!
Toilet block 100 metres away from the field was immaculate but no showers.
The site is only 200 metres away from the pub, The Bull which serves delicious food at very reasonable prices. Lobster and fish night on Fridays. Dogs allowed in pub garden but not in the pub itself.
Highly recommended area to visit. Some challenging cycling and beautiful scenery.

Excellent CL site. Good level firm field and great views over River Stroud. Easy access and very quiet.
You have access to a toilet block and normal Caravan Club facilities.
Great walks along River Stroud. Go one way for a walk to Flatford (Constable country etc. ). The other way is tidal and is great for bird spotting.
It's not far from Alton Water for Cycling/walking and watersports etc.
Pub 20 metres up the road - I didn't use it but looks ok from outside.

Super CL with views from some pitches of River Stour and walks directly from the site in the lovely countryside.
The CL is at the side of commercial units and use of the very nice toilets is allowed. No noise from these units as they are mainly let as offices and not much traffic comes and goes.
Lovely friendly owner makes you so welcome. Pitches aren't very well defined. We visited Flatford Mill, Shotley, and very nearby Alton Water.
Loved it here so many places to visit will stay longer next time.
