 The first thing to mention is that a lot of pitches for tents require you to carry all your equipment down lots of steps! Once you've got set up, though, it's all about relaxing!
There is a good pool, no slides, but there's a paddling pool for youngsters. The main pool is very deep, just over 5' at the shallow end. There is always a lifeguard present. The pool does get busy, but not unbearably so, and if you choose your time carefully you can avoid the really busy times.
There are 4 beaches which are easily accessible from the site, one of them being a nudist beach. That one is very secluded, and you can't chance upon it by accident! There are bars at two of the beaches, where it's lovely to sit and watch the sea.
The restaurant food is good, perhaps a little pricey when you consider what you can get in a local restaurant in Tossa de Mar, for example, but adequate if you need something on site.
The sanitary blocks were lovely and clean, there always seemed to be someone cleaning them. There were child-height basins and a baby bath as well.
The reception staff were lovely, spoke very good english (when my almost non-existent Spanish failed) and were very helpful when we enquired about changing pitches (we soon realised we'd have to lug everything regardless of where we pitched!).
For our first visit to Spain, this was a good base. Plenty to keep us occupied on site, but we could go to Lloret de Mar easily, and could also walk the coastal path to Tossa de Mar, which we did twice (parking is difficult in Tossa).
