Fresh water tap, waste facilities and EHU available. Also have toilet facility but currently closed due to Covid so am unable to comment. Being in a motorhome I have my own toilet and shower.
Dairy House Farm is a hidden gem if you like tranquility. Post office/local shop is a pleasant 15 minute walk away.
Plenty of scenic places to visit just a short drive away.

Harwich born and bred with Dutch relatives but moved to Midlands in 60's and have checked out a number of local sites to visit old school friends and get over to Holland to see family. Well this is to be our favoured site……99% level, grass cut, clean, no formalities of parking up. We just spent 4 nights and truly relaxing. Very quiet being as it were in the middle of nowhere although a little bit of traffic noise from A120 during the night. Loo a bit cavernous and you need your own loo paper!
For motor homers and concession holders and visiting Colchester I would recommend parking up on The Walls at Maningtree and catching the bus which run every half hour (103 and 104). As I understand P&R not motorhome friendly but pay & display available. For Harwich always plenty of free parking on river front at Harbour Crescent.
In my opinion an excellent site for exploring the area and an overnighter for the Harwich-Hoek crossing which is just 15 to 20 minutes from the port.

We used the site for a one night stop before catching the ferry from Harwich (less than 15 minutes easy drive away).
When we rang to book owner advised they were away but happy for us to stay and leave money in porch. On arrival there were four other vans on site but there is so much room its like being on a site on your own - you could pitch 5 vans with plenty of room to spare.
The loo remains as previous review, but its clean and there is water and loo roll.
Site is about 1/2 a mile down the private farm lane, so nop road noise at all, very very peaceful.
Several ehu dotted around and a water tap. Chem disp outside the loo. We only stopped the one night so cant say much on the area but would say the site itself its well kept, the grass was well mowed and there are oodles of space.
For £13 we would use again to see a bit of the area if we were in Essex again.

Well, we are still here, so it's October/November. It's a nice CL, good access off Bradfield Road, directions exactly as per the Sites Directory. You will see the site as it's well signed, mown grass, fairly long and thin. It narrows towards where the loo and basin building is, so there is a decent sized area to choose your pitch, they are not marked in any way. It's sheltered by quite high hedges, so we chose the the top part so as to obtain a Sky signal which we found very easily. The site is pretty level, chocks not needed. Plenty of room for children and dogs to run around.
As said, it has a toilet and basin/sink, which are clean but take your own loo paper. If you want, you can pitch your van right next to the facilities. The building would look more attractive if it was painted inside but we use our own loo so no problem.
There are plenty of places to go, just about the nearest is Wrabness Point which has interesting geology and good walks, holiday/weekend houses on stilts on the tide line which are unique. Nice walk north from Walton Naze.
There is a Tesco Direct in the centre of Manningtree, a Co-Op near the station and a garage at the crossroads in Lawford, just west of Manningtree. Morrisons and Asda at Harwich.
The price in the book is £9, very good value. Would be 10/10 if there were showers.
