We found it to be a very pleasant site, in the town of wareham but nice and quiet.
It's only a few minutes walk to the shops plus the bus and the bus route to swanage or poole which saved having to drive.

Peaceful hidden gem. A short stroll takes you into the lovely town of Wareham, so there’s plenty of shops, eateries, pubs, boat hire and trips (along with public toilets although we didn’t use them) and there’s a nice river walk straight from the site (slightly overgrown) or you can walk over the bridge at Wareham to walk the other side of the river.
The site is very basic, so no facilities and that is what is advertised so all good, but there’s water and electric plus recycling bins and a basic Elsan point.
Grass is kept lovely and short and there’s a padlock on the entry gate.
The access is down a single track road with overhanging branches, but as we’re in a caravan we only arrive and leave once so not a problem!
Will definitely return

We loved the proximity(on foot) to the centre of town and its quay area. (Nearest public loos here too).
The access road was very narrow and winding so difficult to access even in our LWB van. Motorhomes and caravans would struggle although both were present when we visited.
The plots are big enough and there's room to manoeuvre when inside.
There's a secure vehicular gate (with code) but the pedestrian gate is unlocked (its on a public footpath so some security might be prudent!)
The site currently has no toilet although the owner (Polite, helpful chap) expressed intentions to install a dry-composting one in future. Which would be convenient;-) NB: Its only a few minutes trot to those VG ones at the quay!
Water and EHU included in rate.
We'd stay there again for the peaceful location and the town has some lovely pubs.

Excellent and friendly site
Plenty of space and good dog walks for our two boys
Facilities very clean
Our only observation would be is to add a hose to the Eldon toilet waste so that the vessels can be cleaned and flushed a little easier
We would definitely stay again

We liked the small quiet site. Unfortunately we would not return due to the narrow access. This wasn't so much of a problem, it was the unmaintained tree branches scraping all down the sides of our van that upset us!

Good points -
The owner is very nice, he was very flexible when we needed to change dates etc.
The site is in an excellent location within easy, flat walking distance (not on the river bank)from shops, pubs, vets and Wareham quay where boat trips are available on the river. Lots to do in the surrounding area.
The site is secured by large gates with coded entry so is safe and it is very peaceful.
Not so good points -
The approach to the site is very narrow and overgrown, the track passes some houses so if cars are parked it is a challenge to say the least. It is not suitable for large caravans and needs an experienced caravanner to get through.
The owner also has 5 or 6 moorings which he leases out consequently the owners of the boats also use the track to drive down to their boats. This leads to a couple of problems
1) They pass directly past the caravans on pitches 3 4 & 5 and some of them drive far too fast.
2) It restricts how the caravan can be positioned.
The land where the pitches are marked out is between the track shared with the boaters and a huge area of weeds and reeds which are up to approx 12ft tall meaning there is no view of the river from the pitches. There is also no access to the river bank past the few moorings mentioned.
Half of the land between the track and the weeds is unsuitable for a wheeled vehicle as it is very soft. This means the caravans have to be parallel parked! When we arrived the pitches either side of us were taken, we parked with the aid of our motor mover however when we left the grass was wet and as the land slopes we had to hitch to the car which was a struggle due to the tight turning area.
If you are in a small unit want peace and quiet in a secure site and you are not bothered about a view, a toilet or a shower it is perfect.
