We used this site as the first stop on a recent road trip.

Blink and you might miss it, we thought it was someone's garden, well it technically is. Don't let that put you off, the owners are very friendly and helpful.

The site is very small around 5 pitches with a small toilet with plenty of wildlife to occupy you. There's not much to do as the village is small, but do visit the pub (Devonshire Arms) as the meals are excellent.

Just spent 2 nights at the old village store site in Peak Forest. A very small site but the pitches were flat.

The owner was very friendly and even offered us a lift to Buxton if we wanted as her husband was going anyway.

We paid £10. 00 per night for 2 adults and a dog. There is one toilet and sink in an outbuilding so lots of daddy long legs!

The pub is a 2 minute walk and served food but we didn't eat there. There is nothing else in the village so you would need to drive or get the bus if you wanted to venture out.

A good little site.
