Great campsite, very friendly staff, great facilities and chill atmosphere.
We stayed for 4 nights and had absolutely no issues, we hiked a lot in the area and even went to EuropaPark.
Would highly recommend to anyone and we will definitely be returning

Totally agree with all the previous reviews, a brilliantly located site with cycle tracks going in both directions. Really enjoyed the drive to get to it admiring all the log piles on the way. We only stayed two nights but wish we could have stayed longer. Friendly owners, bar area and great sanitary facilities especially the new one up the far end. It's a small site with pitches that seem quite close together however as we didn't bother with electricity we pitched up in the natural bit up the far end. Terrific municipal pool a short cycle or walk away in the village - what great facilities these German villages have. We walked a long 4km up a very steep mountain to go to a local festival celebrating the day after the solstice - lots of sausage, chips and beer. There was supposed to be a little bus ferrying everyone up and down but I think we missed it! It was a magical walk back down through the high canopy of trees and much easier! Would love to visit this area again and explore more. We paid Acsi rates so very good value for money.

If you are looking for a delightful, clean, very well appointed, not too big campsite in the Black Forest this is most certainly for you.
Extremely friendly and helpful people (English spoken) running this excellent site. We went to stay for a night and stayed for four nights.
Lovely bar and small restaurant serving simple food but on our day of arrival there was a barbecue with very tasty meats to chose from.
Two blocks of facilities open all the time, always clean and of the highest quality. Because the site is small, there was never a queue.
Good cycling off road, both hilly and flat to choose from, good shops and bars nearby.
Can't recommend this site highly enough. I know I've checked the 10/10 for everything - I've rarely come across a site as good and definitely not better.

Superb location, lovely site! We stayed during a spell of terrible weather and the owners tried so hard to make our stay pleasant! Great facilities, extremely clean and well looked after, the shop sold useful bits and also served food and drinks including beer!
There was a small playground on site for the kids but we were out and about mostly. Would recommend.

Was our stop over point on our way to Austria. Was very wet on arrival, but the rest of our 3 day lay over was glorious.
Went to their BBQ up the hill and was brilliant, loads of German/Dutch songs. Once the entertainer knew we were English we had loads of fun, beers and food. You paid for the meat and they cooked it in front of you, really good value.
Popped to the local 'Aldi' style shop within 10 mins drive to stock up, visited Wulfach which was wonderful and felt like what a German town should be in my mind.
Went to Europa park, this place is amazing and about an hours drive away. On route we saw loads of vintage tractors on the road, our friends got really excited about this.
We were 2 families travelling together and bumped into another British family whilst there. Not much to do on the site for the kids (they all 12-14 years old), small park, trampoline etc.
The owners were brilliant, helped us with places to go etc. Used the local free transport to get to Wolfach, right outside the campsite.
Language wasn't a problem, if anything people ere surprised to hear a English voice, with lots of people asking what we doing, they could t believe we came to their lovely area for a holiday!
Would love to visit again, even just for the BBQ. We caught the early Ferry to Dunkirk and went via Luxembourg route avoiding tolls. 5am we left the port and arrived around 4pm at the site, long drive and the sat nav/map route said it could be done in half the time (was towing a trailer and a people carrier)

This is a wonderful Caravan site takes ACSI Camping Card out of season. The owners Kurt and Sabine Bonath, the owners, are very friendly, helpful and speak excellent English.
Situated right in the center of the Black Forest there are so many wonderful places to visit. One of the museums not to miss is the outdoor one of Old Black Forest Farmhouses website www. Vogtsbauernhof. Org
The nearest small town is Wolfach quite small but is a lovely old town. The cobblestone main street has many and varied shops of good quality and nice coffee shops. In the area there are many Gasthofs with good restaurant. You must try the cakes sold from the shop on site the famous gateux and more.
The site is situated in Bad Rippoldsau-Schlapbach very rural and very pretty on a small babbling stream. It is quite quiet.
The toilet blocks are excellent especially the one furthest away from the Reception.
There is a small play area for the children. The Bonaths put on BBQ's on some Saturday nights for all to enjoy
All pitches have Electric and water is available nearby all pitches. WiFi is available for a small fee.
