I agree with the other two posts that this is a lovely site. I only met the lady owner and she was very helpful and friendly.
But the dogs. They didn't disturb us, but the small one swung past and had a poo about four feet from our door and there were several large lumps from the big one close by.
The grass was a bit long for me and clearly hadn't been cut for a few weeks. Not excessively long but I like short grass.
Having said all this I would certainly consider returning.
If they could keep on top of the grass and keep the dogs off, then it would be a real real gem of a site and justify the £15 per night.

Just returned from a very relaxing weekend at this site. The site is very peaceful with lots of local walks through lovely country side. There are two pubs the Parrot about a mile to the North and the Scarlett Arms about the same to the South, we preffered the Scarlett Arms. The owners are very friendly and so is their dog Bailey. The facilities are basic ie waste disposal, fresh water, electric hook up no showers or toilets but as you would expect from a site that accommodates only five units. Will definitely be returning.

I've stayed at this site a few times.
I can easily say it is my favourite site anywhere.
It is a beautiful field next to the owners property. It is kept impeccably. There is drinking water tap, a chemical disposal point, rubbish and recycling and electricity.
It is beautiful. There is a river running along the bottom and it is adjacent to beautiful footpaths.
It is a short walk to the Parrot Pub, very nice, with a wonderful farm shop next to it, which sells superb delights.
The village has a small museum.
It is a short drive to Leith Hill and the wonderful pubs at Friday Street.
The owners are very helpful.
I can't speak highly enough of the place.
There is only one tiny downside - they have dogs which ravage - so do not leave any empty meat packaging in any bins outside, as they may come and get them at 6am! Watch out for occasional big dog poo from their big dogs. But honestly, I would not worry about this,
It is close to London and easy to pick up friends from Dorking or Ockham for the day or evening.
