It was a lovely, well cared for site with good access to water and electricity.
The bathrooms were well maintained and the shop had all you needed.
The on-site restaurant had lovely, well priced food to sit in or takeaway and the bar owner Leno was very helpful and accommodating and introduced us to lovely people we now feel are friends for life.
Would love to get back as it was central to all we wanted to visit ie Pisa, Florence and Sienna.
The only drawback was the entrance on a corner on a hill with little warning of oncoming traffic and with a double axle caravan we’re not the quickest to cross a road

This is a nice site. It is close to the autostrada so it can be a bit noisy. It is up some amazing hills but then it has amazing views.
We found a pitch after a tour of the site in the dark. Plenty of hookups.
Good facilities, clean and hot showers. Even washing machine and drier.
We took the bus into Florence which was dead easy and cheap. 9€ for the 4 of us return. Dropped us right in the middle of the city.
We didn't use the restaurant but it looked good.

This site is very close to the autostrada exit with easy access. The camping area is up a steepish hill behind the reception. ACSI is advertised but they no longer accept it!
There are very few marked pitches as such, the area being mainly a 'free for all'. The whole area can be very boggy if it has been raining and access to pitch a caravan can be difficult for larger vans.
Toilet facilities are good and were clean (site not too busy) There is a large restaurant and bar area and shop with basics.
It is possible to get a bus into Florence form the main road but we drove in and found parking quite easily and cheaper than many English towns.
Handy for a short stay and visit to Florence.
There is a pool. There are statics on site and when we visited they were occupied by coach tour clients.
