 Large site, pitch wherever is free. As you would expect with the climate pitches are mostly bare but of a good size.
Toilets and showers clean, paper and seats. Restaurant on site but didn't use, quiet bar, probably due to early in season.
Quite a fair sized supermarket on site, well stocked you can even get fresh milk.
Regular bus service into Albufeira at camp entrance but taxis are cheap.

Returned to this site for Winter Sun having done the same last year.
The good things about the site are the cleanliness of the shower blocks, its location and the rubbish collection.
However the arrival area is still heavily potted, the pitches are poorly managed and in certain areas, due to tarpaulin extending over tents and some caravans, they resemble refugee camps. Some units on seasonal pitches look in bad state of repair.
The grass around our pitch was not cut before we arrived or whilst we were there. Fortunately we were lent a strimmer to cut it down but it is not for campers to do that work.
There were less cats than last year and, for a campsite of this size, it was very quiet at night. There is some road noise but not ridiculous levels.

Large secure site well located near town and amenities.
This large site has a mixture of permanent residents living in bungalows, 5th wheelers and all year round caravan pitches.
The touring pitches are very varied in size, some in shade and some in full sun. EHU on most pitches but a little flakey at times. This is not helped when selfish owners of electric cars charge then from the plot!
Showers blocks are very clean with ample showers and toilets. Each washing up section supplied with only one hot tap for a group of sinks. Washing machines available at €5 per wash or tumble dry.
The pitches lack any clear demarcation so some campers appear to encroach on neighbouring plots or even occupy 2. The lack of clear boundaries in the form of small hedges seems to encourage people to cross you pitch on the way to toilets etc. So any privacy is lost.
Because of the random way people park it can look like a shambles in some areas. On most plots it’s virtually impossible to maintain the 3m rule from your neighbours which the Management ask you to observe.
The site has a large cat population and they did steal unprotected food from awnings whilst we were there.

Great site with very clean facilities, swimming pool is amazing. We have enjoyed our time here.
There is a path right outside that takes you into Albufeira town 5 minute cycle ride.

This is a very clean and friendly site,
There is a handy bus stop outside the entrance which runs every 30 mins which is handy,
It’s a 20 min walk into town, good value for money
I would recommend this site to anyone who wants to stay in albufeira

Large campsite with good clean facilities, bars and restaurants on site.
Possible to catch a bus from outside campsite into Albufeira.
Plenty of level pitches. Friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked - no marked pitches (free for all). Not a lot of shade.

An absolutely fantastic site, everything you could wish for. Extremely clean showers with a plentiful supply of hot water. The facilities for a motorhome are on nearly every corner. Bus stop right outside the gate. Staff very helpful. Loved my stay. I would recommend this site to all my friends and family

We stayed for 2 nights here. It's a beautiful campsite. Well kept. The showers are lovely and hot and always spotlessly clean whenever you go in. There is a well stocked shop with a cafe outside, also a beauty salon on site too. Really handy. The bus stop is just outside the entrance and costs €1. 40 to go to Albufeira. The lady on reception was lovely and very helpful. Would definitely recommend this campsite.

After a nice couple of days here to get a feel for the place we decided to book a month for the discount, that was our first mistake.
It's not a bad site per se, but there are a few problems that anyone who is thinking of staying here needs to be aware of.
If you like peace and quiet forget it, the on site restaurant is apparently not part of the campsite, and in the weeks leading up to xmas there was a party every single night with loud bass music sometimes til 3am making it impossible to sleep.
When we complained at reception we were just fobbed off that they could do nothing as it wasn't under their control.
There are also no clearly marked pitches, so its a free for all, so make sure you leave your chairs out etc to mark your pitch if you go out for the day or there will be someone in it when you come back.
The problem when you leave it upto some jackass to decide where to pitch they will take as much room as they can, caravan, car, awning, tent, washing line, table and chairs resulting in what is a big site being really problematical to find a space to park up in when people take up 3 spaces each.
Even though there are people on the gate, they never come upto the site, so be prepared for dogs running around off the lead, barking all night, and inconsiderate neighbours who seem to think their taste in music is amazing and everyone should enjoy listening to it til the small hours.
Caveat emptor.
