This site proved to be a wonderful surprise. Chose it due to a lack of sites in the area and stayed two nights rather than the planned one. Very quiet in late April but three shower blocks open. Very helpful receptionist on arrival, lots of flat pitches to chose from but some may have steep approaches for long units. Saw one motorhome ground the back getting on a pitch.
Shower block is old but very clean with boiling water and clean(no seats or paper) loos. They were cleaned each morning and bins were emptied. The washing up area had two sinks with hot water. Surprised to find very good free wifi on the pitch. All this with electric hook up for €10. 10 a night. A real bargain.
There is a lot to see in the area including Monsanto, Idanha a Velha which is an amazing village with Roman ruins, nature reserve, border fortified villages etc. Idanha a Nova has a supermarket and shops.
The site is a few minutes from a large lake to cycle or walk round.
Thoroughly recommend this site which seems to be underrated. We will return for longer to visit the remaining villages on our list.
There is a large pool, restaurant and supermarket which I presume are open in high season.

A fairly typical Orbitur site, very large and everything closed up for winter except 1 toilet / shower block (shop, bar, cafe all closed). Facilities were clean but ancient - standard no loo seats, no toilet paper and no soap. We stayed early December and only 3 or 4 units each night.
Ehu and a motor home service point and we paid €11 per night with ACSI - fair rate for facilities. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and spoke very good English.
The site is minutes from the lake with beautiful walks around the lake and down to the reservoir dam. The village is 8 km away and has a good size Intermarche supermarket. Cobbled streets in the village - don't take your unit in - you can park at the supermarket and walk in.
A good stop off for a few nights but very quiet in winter and no shops or cafes etc nearby for walking to.
