What a peaceful and pleasant site, we've been coming here for many years and always enjoyed it. And it's really attractive around by the swimming pool.
The staff have always been very friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers are excellent. Free wifi (but we've found so many French campsites where WiFi is free).
About 20 minutes walk away from the lovely town of St Remy. And it's along quiet roads unlike one of the other campsites in St Remy.
There is a nice bar and restaurant but we usually make the effort to go to town as there are just so many good restaurants to choose from.

We have just returned from 2 weeks at 'camping mas de nicolas' and in short : we loved it!
The toilets/showers etc were always perfectly clean, the showers were great (always hot so the problem the previous poster had must have been fixed). The washing sinks were in separate cubicles and we didn't really to queue for anything
The pool was really good, there was quite a large area which was fairly shallow which was great for our 5 year old. There was also a really shallow pool for toddlers.
The thing that made us really like the place though was the brilliant, relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere about the whole pace. It is a fairly smallish campsite. The staff were really friendly and laid back. Our son loved the kids club which was like everything else, not overcrowded, friendly and informal.

We arrived in the evening after deciding not to stay at another campsite in the town featured in 'Cool Camping' as it seemed so claustrophobic. A warm welcome and we were given a map to find our pitch. The site is terraced and the pitches are not evenly arranged due to the geography of the site. We couldn't find the hookup on our pitch but luckily there was a very helpful English couple in the next pitch who climbed under a few hedges and plugged us in! This site seems to have the reverse polarity issue but luckily our van is equipped for this and the guy in the next pitch is obviously very clever and made his own cable to cope (he was a regular at this site). The pool area was quite nice and the snack bar was okay. The showers kept going hot and cold and I heard other people mentioning this, including the regulars next door, so it didn't sound like a usual occurrence but was very annoying.
There was a large area to walk dogs just at the back of the site next to the canal. Make sure you ask for a key to the back gate (deposit required). And beware - the canal is very fast flowing. My dog treated it like a 'lazy river' and was able to jump out when she was cool but it was quite disconcerting the first time she jumped in! Next to the toilets is a dog shower which was very handy when she rolled in some unmentionables.
We came to this town to visit the Van Gough santatorium which was beautiful and well worth a visit. The weekly market was excellent too. Lots of lovely shops and restaurants in the town which is about a 20 minute walk from the site.

An excellent site, we have visited this site from time to time since 1988.
Situated on a gradient, it offers mainly shaded emplacements.
The facilities are very good.
The site has a pool and a little spa.
The nearby town of St Remy de Provence is charming, with a plethora of bars, restaurants and shops. It is a twenty minute walk to the centre.
There are many places to visit nearby - Les Baux, Glanum and the Camargue.
