 We used this site as a stopover whilst travelling to Southern Brittany.
The location is great, just 10 mins from the AutoRoute and it was also easy to find. Turning into the site was a bit tricky for larger units like ours as the trees at the site entrance do overhang a little, but we managed ok.
The site itself is lovely, you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. There were no rules, just pitch where you like.
The facilities are very basic but adequate, the toilets and showers could certainly do with updating, but they were clean.
The owner is a very friendly chap, he insisted we had a glass or two of wine with him, an offer which we accepted of course.

This is a little gem in the Normandy countryside, the facilities are basic, toilets, showers, disabled wet room and washing up area. There are plenty of electric hook ups available through out the site, there is a large covered barbecue area with wood provided by the owner which we thought was a nice touch.
The children's facilities are limited but there is a pool table and some animals, that will interest them, goats, rabbits, chickens, cats, ducks and geese and plenty of room for them to play.
Fred has recently built a lake stocked with geese, ducks and trout. This is a quiet area at the side of the campsite and can also be used for barbecues (there is no camping in this area) or just sitting and watching the sun go down.
We found it a very relaxing holiday and not far from the shops, beaches, and local tourist attractions such as Le Mont Saint Michel and within easy reach of the Normandy landing beaches. There is also free Wifi available and the camping rates are very reasonable.
The owner is a true character and is very helpful and friendly with lots of local knowledge, Fred is from the south of England, though his website was created by a Dutch friend and fellow camper, as you will notice when you click the link to his website! also best way to contact Fred is by phone.
This was a lovely holiday for the two of us where there was a selection of tents, caravans and motor homes some of the campers said they had been coming for years. We look forward to going again this year.
