Absolutely lovely site. Well run, efficient and very clean.

Cleaners in the shower blocks virtually all day.

Two guys on tractor and trailer constantly going round clearing debris and emptying dustbins.

Very reasonable rates. Would highly recommend.

This is the third time we have stayed here in 8 years and not a lot has changed. Showers still poor, heavy rainfall streams down the site, causing guests to dig channels in the soil to divert the flow causing the bottom of the site to flood on occasion.

3 New washers and now 2 driers have been installed and the bar now serves a lot more good food.

Site wifi is available at a cost but the bar wifi is free, both are good.

The good thing about its location is it is near to the town.

Will we return ? I doubt it.

This Is a nice site, but a little worn round the edges, Restaurant is good, but cheaper and better ones outside the camp. Staff very Friendly, and helpful, we were down at the bottom of the camp, and wi fi reception was poor.

The best pitches are nearer the reception, but pretty full when we were there. There was plenty of space down the bottom. Which is nearer the road and lagoon.

Shower blocks are clean and hot. Washing machine room with tumble dryers, also a blessing.

Not to impressed with the town. Not as much to do as we would like, and very Hi rise. But OK. Esplanade is a good walk, and OK, very Quiet, as was the camp-site. Over all a nice camp site. We would use it again

This is the second time we have stayed here, previously 2 years ago, and nothing much has changed.

It has a very convenient location, within walking distance of the main town and a good sized Pingo Dolce supermarket. The bar is open, basic meals can be had, the drinks are very reasonable and the free wifi has excellent speed.

The campsite itself could do with a good tidy up, several of the long term units are scruffy giving the whole site a down at heel look. The toilet/shower block really let's the whole place down though, it is in desperate need of an upgrade. Broken locks, chipped tiles, taps that don't work and the inadequate amount of hot water available in the showers is unacceptable.

It's a good value site but perhaps the shabbiest facilities I've encountered on the Algarve, it's a shame because the staff are great and it could be so much better with a bit spent on it and a rigorous cleaning regime implemented

The lagoon at Salgados is full of water this year and so has lots of life on and around it. The cycle path in and around ARMACAO de PERA takes a little finding but provides a few options to peddle out away from the main N125 road.

There are lots of great places to eat and drink in the town, the seafront is very pretty, the beaches excellent, all in all a lovely place to stay for a week or two.

This is one of two site within a mile or so of each other. This site is closest to the town, on the roundabout about 10 minutes walk into town.

First thing was plenty of sunny pitches, the site was possibly half full but still majority of free pitches had all day sunshine. The toilets / showers were clean - but the showers were a bit of a waste of time. Seven minutes of good hot waterm, but zero pressure so just a trickle. After the 7 minutes you need to go out and re start the hot water at the end of the showers.

There is a brand new restaurant and bar. The bar was open but the restaurant was closed as they don't currently have a cook. Plenty of places to eat within a 15 minute walk though. Free wifi available at the bar area.

The town has a good promenade that goes on for a mile or two, plenty of shops and bars. On Saturday a fabulous market selling fish, meat and fruit along with lots of local crafts and cakes.

At €11 per night with ehu it was a good site. If they sort out the showers it would be an excellent site. We will use again, its very convenient for town and the sunny pitches make up for any other short comings.

A lovely site located within 5 minutes walk of bars, shops and restaurants, carry on walking and the choice increases.

A classy town with a nice esplanade, gorgeous views of the sea and cliffs.

The camping is a little gem, very clean and tidy, well cared for and looked after. Even in November there is a bar open all day 6 days a week, with occasional meals and entertainment put on. Also a small shop serving basic needs such as fresh bread, wine, stamps etc.

A large site with plenty of sunny pitches. Showers and toilets in 4 blocks are very clean with hot showers for 7 minutes. Although the open sided arrangement can be a little cool on windy days, be warned.

Lots of water points around as well as emptying ( by bucket) there is a dedicated motorhome emptying but you'll have to move your van to use it.

Washing machines and dryers available at 4euros a whirl.

Manual laundry available FOC but cold water only as with the dish washing area.

Electric points are well placed with a reliable feed of 6 amps.

Wifi available FOC at the bar.

Friendly and helpful staff, it's a very nice place to stay whilst checking out the area and Salgados lake with its lovely bird life

Winter prices are 10. 50 per night including electricity

This is a really nice and well located site. We have stayed in the bungalows in previous years but now we have a camper and so can stay longer.

Toilets are normally well cared for and in good condition, but can be chilly for showers because the walls do not reach the roof. Showers are hot with push button outside for 7 minutes, (plenty for us).

The on site shop is poorly stocked in winter but fresh bread is available daily except Sunday. WiFi is available free in the bar area but not on site.

The town and beach are an easy walk.

We will be back in 2013!
