A very well maintained site with exceptionally friendly and supportive staff. Food on site was excellent.
Toilet and shower facilities (with washing machine) are across the road (a single track lane with no pavement or street lights, so bring a torch and supervise children here) in good order but as the site has multiple users you will need to bring your own toilet paper. Lovely walks around the site.
Very good value for money, cash or card payments accepted.
I will be coming back with my children again to this delight little camp site.

A bit pricey for the pitch at £20 for a night. But apart from that it is a little decent place. Plus food is decent.
Toilets & showers could do with a little up dating. And staff are very polity and helpful.
Will definitely go again.

Not very good at all. In fact we left a day early. The site is small, but it's very run down and neglected.
The toilet and shower blocks are portacabins, which in itself is ok, but I don't think they've been cleaned or maintained at all since they were installed, apparently years ago. They were filthy, almost every cubicle was littered with broken things fallen off the walls, paint peeling, leaking, shower curtains not fitting, drains blocked. Not a single one of the toilets had any toilet roll in for the whole time. No soap, no towels, do dryers.
We were not greeted on arrival so didn't know where to pitch. I had to call them and still no one came, so I helped myself to a pitch.
The site is littered everywhere with building materials, bricks, broken pipes, pallets. It's just generally a mess.

Owners were friendly and greeted us on arrival. Cash is required as payment, no card facilities. Site is very basic with mobile unit for toilets and showers. When turning taps on in mens the urinals overflow.
The ladies toilet door does not shut or lock. No elson point but there is fresh water taps and electric hookup. In the main field there is some building material to be aware of if you have small children. There is also deep water which is not fenced off so you need to be vigilant with children.
There is a very good indian restaurant on site which you can enjoy as a takeaway around the campfire.
Wifi is not available in the camp-site but owners kindly gave connection for the house and said that we could sit in garden and use the wifi there.
This site served a purpose and was nice and quiet. I do feel it was overpriced for the facilities provided and would not want to stay for more than a couple of nights.
