We have stayed here 3 nights, we found site in acsi book.
Very quiet this time of year, very little English spoken at reception. We found our own pitch, hook ups beside pitches, but nothing else, long walk up hill by bar for water, shower facilities, well cold water. Cubicles had no where adequate for towels to not get wet, water very cold for washing up, no heating at all in the blocks, and it was frosty all 3 mornings.
The bar is only open weekends, but chef is very helpful and cooked me a veggy option.
Its such a shame to see a site that could be great if only had a little tlc? nice walk from site to forestry area right behind site. Site is suitable for bikes. Bank in the town.

Visited this site during the second half of September for 6 nights, and I'd probably return here if ever in the area again. The toilet block / facilities were clean and modern (including toilet seats and loo paper). The wifi extended as far as the pitch we were on, which was a 'hardish' standing (limestone gravel). Didn't particularly look at the kids play area - though it looked to have the basics. The only downside of the site, was that although the temperatures were in the 30's the pool was closed for the season (could have sworn the adverts I'd read said the pool would be open). It looked a good pool. Staff spoke reasonable English - better than my Spanish. The restaurant/bar sold a variety of meals at reasonable prices and although we only used it one night the quality was okay. It was fairly quiet whilst we were there.
It's convenient for the 'med' towns of Malaga, Torremolinos, Marbella. However the highlight for me was a visit to the lakes in the mountains in a nearby national park. The scenery was stunning.
The site was easy to find and convenient from the motorway/autovia, with no awkward bends/obstructions either as you approach or on the site - important if you have a large outfit.

We were rather disappointed by this site. It can be very cold in this area in winter so we were looking forward to the advertised heated toilet/shower facilities. There are two blocks next to each other. The smaller of the two had no heating whatsoever. The larger block had a small electric wall-heater near the wash-basins, but nowhere near the shower cubicles. It was on a timer switch and went off after five minutes, which was as good as useless! It took a long time for the water in the showers to run warm, and there was insufficient hanging/shelf space in the cubicles. So, although everything was clean and modern, it was not a comfortable experience in January!
Other than that, the site was fine - large, level, gravelled pitches, free wifi in reception, but it also reaches to many of the pitches nearby. The restaurant looked pleasant and did a menu del dia for 8 euros.
The town of Humilladero is rather unattractive, but the main reason for staying here is to visit the many places of interest in the area. The Laguna de Fuente de Piedra is popular with bird-watchers and has Europe's largest community of flamingoes. There's a nearby Donkey Sanctuary which we enjoyed. Historic towns in the area include Antequera, Archidona and Osuna.
We'd certainly stay again if we were in the area, but a properly heated shower block would be a big improvement!

This is a fairly new site which only opened in last 12-18 months. The site is located on the edge of town and its a 10-15 minute walk into the small town which has a few shops and several bars.
Toilet / showers are brand new and immaculate. Toilets have seat and loo roll. Showers are piping hot and good water pressure. There is washing up, hand washing and washing machine facilities. All pitches are large on hard standing with ehu (10 amp).
There are 2 beautiful swimming pools (too cold in Feb) and a cafe / restaurant. Daily delivery of fresh bread, no shop on site.
As before the site is new and therefore no real planting just bare sand or gravel on site. This does give the site a bit of a bare feel - as time goes on sure this will improve.
There were several British vans on site the first night we were there, second night joined by 15-20 Spanish vans - its certainly seems to be becoming a popular site and easy to see why as its a good road from the coast and just under 40 minutes from Marbella.
We paid €16 per night with ACSI - a really nice site away from the coast which will get better as time goes on. Would recommend this is you want to see a bit of the inland towns and village.
