 It seems that it has only recently come onto ukcampsite so I will be the first to review! I was looking for a site that had the basic facilities but whenever a review for other sites says that there is some distant traffic noise, it puts me off. We like a truly peaceful site and that means very little passing or distant traffic, and this site fulfilled this.
Very well maintained grass pitches with EHU and several water taps. It is divided into 2 parts with the shower and toilet block and emptying area in the front half. There was also a washing machine available to use, needing tokens from the owner.
Lots of information on the surrounding areas. There is also a blackboard with info on things happening locally such as Wednesday evening, the Padstow lifeboat practice. The showers were hot and free. They also encourage recycling with clearly marked bins.
There is no wifi to log onto but 3/4g was available on my phone so that sufficed. ( Having the Internet on site isn't high on our list of priorities) The site is only 15 mins from Padstow and the beautiful coastline from there round to Newquay.
Really big pitches, clearly marked. Prices were very reasonable too. Cash only. There is a blackboard at the entrance with the pitch number and your name on if busy but when it's quiet, it's possible just to turn up and the owner comes and finds you at some point.
Very relaxed approach with lovely owners who let you get on with your holiday. I've given this site a low mark for child friendliness as there is nothing for children to do here. The peace and tranquility is what this site is about, I feel.

Lovely peaceful site with level pitches and amazing Sunsets. Clean facilities, friendly owners.
Close to beaches and easy access to main roads to visit other places. Close to Padstow

Great site close to padstow, friendliest staff and so helpful, Amenaties so clean, large pitches, terrific sunsets. Such a quite site, great place for stargazing (if that's your hobby) Loads of beaches close by enough for us to try one every day.
All round inexpensive friendly site
