Booked three nights and paid over the phone drove in and set up easy. Field flat and grass.
EHU and water points against the trees giving some shade in the mornings.
Some large aeroplanes flying low overhead during the day but not a problem for me. Shower and toilets adequate.
It's a long walk into Isleham or on to Judes Ferry pub but a nice walk along the River Lark. No local amenities.
Rural is a good description. Would happily recommend.

Great little site, back to basics as it should be, quiet, peaceful site.
There's two wc's and a shower/wc. Water points and ehu's.
If you pre book then all you have to do is turn up and pick your own spot. Which is what we did, never saw anyone else as we were the only one's on site.
Never even saw anyone related to the site, which is how easy and laid back this site is. Loved it.
Had booked for two nights but things changed so we contacted the owners to inform them that we would only be staying the first night and if anyone wanted a pitch for the second night then they could have ours and we were not bothered about getting a refund. Only returning home we found out that they had refunded our second nights charge which was very nice of them to do so.
This site is a campsite not a holiday park so anyone wanting all the bells and whistles need to book else where. Anyone wanting peace and tranquillity then book this site.
Would be more than happy to stay here again, which we will do. The reason for our change of plans from two nights to one is that when we booked it was for two adults and one dog, sadly our dog passed away a week before our stay and we had to rearrange our work commitments and things to get things sorted.

Very peaceful and relaxing stay in the Fens with my family.
Would definitely revisit again.
Ideal location for touring the local area or just appreciating nature.

We were visiting friends in the area, and it served its purpose.
Plus points,
£15 a night with electric,
Very very quiet, ( except for the very odd plane to Mildenhall )
Barn owls observed n next field, , morning and afternoon.
Drinking water straight from tap was excellent.
Not so good,
Poor Fen roads, but that comes with the territory,
Very very poor approach road to site from main road. Loose gravel, many potholes, needs maintenance.

Gone downhill. mole hills and holes everywhere
Can’t get to river or fishing unless you cross ploughed field
Long grass cut short, grass everywhere
Toilets and showers shut for over a year, can’t see them ever opening again.
Left after 1 night

We had a fantastic time, grandchildren enjoyed themselves,
It would have been better with another shower/toilet block. It would have been nice to met the owners!

Grass pitches which are level, water and electricity nearby as is the rubbish area. 2 toilets and a shower and toilet, all with sinks. Unfortunately none were cleaned during our stay nor were they clean when we got there.
Easy access to the river bank, lovely walk if you turn left but not if you turn right, the area is full of long grass and nettles. The sites riverbank decking area is a good idea but needs tidying up somewhat.
Good value for £15 a night, take your time if towing as previously stated the roads are awful when nearing the site. For plane spotters it's under the flight path of Mildenhall although only a few planes per day. Would be a little gem if the facilities were cleaned.

This is just your typical CS site you get the basic facilities, but at fifteen quid a night that's about right, but the peace and quiet is lovely.
The only down side to this site is the approach roads to it like being on a roller coaster for about three mile. Having said that you will be made most welcome when you get there.
There is lots of places to visit if you want to drive out and about Ely/Cambridge and the fens are all nearby and the village has two nice dog friendly pub where you are made very welcome.
Would I stay here again? most definitely if in the area
