 Owners were very welcoming. Showed us all amenities. We had the camping field to ourselves.

Toilet and water tap clean and tidy.

We enjoyed our stay greatly.

 A small certified site perfect for a short stop. As to be expected with a CS the facilities are limited to a bin and freshwater but as a bonus there are also toilet facilities.

Site consists of a small field on a working dairy farm. The field was in great condition with only a very slight slope so ideal for tents. The field is segregated from the rest of the farm by a hedgerow on three sides and a fence on the other so if it is windy you should be able to find some shelter.

Toilet facilities consist of the outside toilet of the farmhouse, just a toilet and sink but clean and well kept with hot water.

As it is a working farm there can be some background noise but nothing too bad, just some inquisitive cows! The owners were very friendly and would have a good chat if you bumped into them on the way to the toilet.

The site is a short walk (10Mins along a country lane) from the village of North Cowton. There is a pub in the village which served nice, hearty meals. A surprising find whilst strolling out from the site in the day was the small cafe at a water garden center nearby. Really good lunch time food!

Overall we had a really pleasant and quiet stay for a couple of nights. The area is very agricultural but we found some nice walks to keep us busy over a weekend. For the price cannot complain and would revisit.
