Great site family owned, found us a pitch with shade for our dog, but also gave us a choice of other places.
Stream runs through site which our dog loved, good walking, shops handy, not far from the eagles nest, you can take your car or bus, well worth a visit.
We had hoped to visit 2021 but due to travel restrictions not looking good, may be ok next year. My wife and I found the site owners to be very nice people very helpful.
At the time of our visit the site was full. I treat people how they treat me.

First impressions not great for this site as woman at reception not very friendly and did not bother to give us much information. Also site a bit scruffy and didn't look well cared for.
Pitches were fine with plenty of hedges and trees. Washroom facilities reasonable with plenty of hot water for showers. However, when we came to use the dish washing facility there was a pay meter for the water which we had not been told about so went back to the motorhome and washed up there. Never had that charge before.
We were given some cards which we didn't take much notice of as we though they were just business cards to give to other people to recommend the site but they turned out to be tourist cards which we could have used had we been told.
We prepared to leave at 9. 15 the next morning only to find the office closed until 10. 00 so had to wait until then to pay. Not a very convenient arrangement and again not explained to us despite my wife speaking fluent German.
Used ADAC Camp-Key card for which special price was 20 euros including 5 Kw of electricity for the two of us and camper but 5 euros more for tourist cards which we didn't know about until too late.

We used our ACSI card to stay on this site and were charged €16 per night for 2 people plus 4kw of 10 amp electricity. There is an extra charge for WIFI and €2. 30 per day per person local tax. We did end up paying an extra £5 per day for electric but it was very cold and snowing so this was acceptable. You get a tourist pass which gives free bus travel and the Tourist Information staff are very helpful so the local tax was worth it. The site has easy access from the motorway and is well signed. The pitches are large and flat. There is a stream running through the site and later in the year you can camp on the banks on fully serviced pitches. Facilities are very good and heated. Views from the site are lovely and you can have nice walks. You can get a bus to Saltzburg for €4. There is an excellent shopping centre a short drive away. The town of Berchtesgaden is 15 minutes away by bus, it is very picturesque with painted buildings and an interesting historic walk. I would recommend Gastof Bier Adam and Hofbackerei Martin Kruis in Rathausplatz for lunch. I would definitely return there is so much more to see using this site as a base.

Having stopped at this camp ACSI Campping Card sitefor the past 5 years on our way to Austria we cannot fault it.
The surrounding area has many interesting places to visit as the Eagles Nest, Rosfell Pass. Salzburg, Ramsau, which is a picture box village with amazing church. Oberndorf where the Silent Night Chapel is situated connected with the famous Christmas Carol. Another nearby area which is beautiful is the Wolfgansee and well worth a day out to.
The toilets and showers are excellent. Immediate area is excellent for walking. Shopping at a supermarket in a shopping centre within a mile.
