Lovely quite site.
Staff very helpful. It had all the facilities we needed: electricity, water, chemical disposal and shower.
Although the shower was 150m away it was worth the walk. Lovely hot shower.
Will come again.

Great space! Plenty of room for the grandchildren to play safely. Pitches are huge and the electricity, although paid for with a card is not hiked up in price. Owners are pleasant and helpful. Great for a weekend away or for a longer stay to visit the coast

Gatewick farm CL is a winner for us.
We stayed with our Folding Camper for 9 nights and had a relaxing time with friendly neighbours.
The Campsite entrance is on the Steyning Bypass on a large sweeping bend, slow down early as it is easy to overshoot, look out for the small CL sign.
Enter your pre given pass code at the tall black secured gate and follow the road down to the sign posted CL site. It opens up to a sheltered large spacious site with countryside views. We were given our pitch number on our emailed booking details so were able to set up our unit straight away and pay by card at the house later.
Pitches are very generous and well laid out. We noticed the grass got cut once a week.
£14 a night, electric is by(easy to use)meter cards, we didn't use our fan heater so costs were just under £1 daily, extra cards can be bought at anytime should you run out.
A short walk away there is a toilet with hand basin and a shower room with wash basin, both kept clean.
When we booked, they emailed us through extra information about the local area and emergency numbers if needed, which was most welcome. Also a map giving directions of a shortcut walk through the local roads, houses and alleyways to the old picturesque town of Steyning which we enjoyed following, which took 10-15 minutes to walk.
Steyning has a Co-op, Pubs, cafes, bakery, Hardware, Newsagents, etc. But we never did find a Food Takeaway shop.
On the Campsite we were entertained by sheep and cattle in an adjacent field, we spotted rabbits and a crane (Bird variety, ) also listen out for the Owl and Peacocks.

Just returned from 3 days staying at gatewick farm.
My first impression was just how secluded the site is and how tranquil the setting.
As you arrive there is a small sign just outside the entrance stating gatewick farm, blink and you could miss it as it is set back from the main road and hard to see. Being also used as a caravan storage site this is a very safe and secure site.
There is not much at this site as regards to a shop or park for young children. There is a small shower block with a single shower and separate toilet, both were clean and well kept.
The site is square and level with 3 gravel pitches and 2 grass. There is an electric hook up point that you have to buy charge cards at £1 each. I put £3 pound on and that lasted the 3 days that we were there.
You are surrounded by farmland and in the opposite field are around 60 sheep that can be a bit noisy, but that said it did not bother us as our 2 young children where probably worse.
We came to the site with 2 other groups and at one point we had the place to ourselves which made the stay feel a little more special. There is plenty of space for the children and adults to run around and play games such as football or badminton.
All in all a lovely site and we would definitely stay again.
