 This is a very nice CL, easy enough to get to and the actual access is good. The last bit of road (just over a mile) from the B4077 is rather narrow, so pray you don't meet anything large coming the other way. There are plenty of passing places though. Beware that the post code in your sat nav will take you to the first farm, keep going! the owners seem very laid back in that you never see them.
The site is at least 2 acres, somewhat undulating but it's easy enough to level up. Only 5 vans are allowed, although there is plenty of room for more so it's very spacious. Sky tv is very easy to find. There are no showers or loos here. Electricity amperage seems to be high.
There are good views over the fields and woods, and too many footpaths to mention. Buy the local Ordnance Survey map so that you can find them all. Would recommend the circular walk around Snowshill; there is also a lovely walk to a hidden valley near the site, turn right and it's just up the road on the right.
Winchcombe is the nearest small town, has a Co-op and lots of antique shops, it's just over 3 miles away. Stow on the Wold is about 8 miles away and has a Tesco (left from the junction) and a garage (right from the junction), otherwise it is stuffed full of antique and souvenir shops and of course Scotts of Stow.
Cost is £12 per night, fair enough in view of the lovely location and we would certainly return. The weather helps of course.
