Let's start off with the good bits, because there are some. Richard, the chap who manages the campsite on a day to day basis was lovely.
Very helpful and put us in the best place for having young kids, access to a big open field and away from the other caravans and shaded in the afternoon.
The campsite it's self is nice and settled, no loud music, no big groups of adults. It's also in a good location for the surrounding areas, especially conningsby if you are a budding plane spotter.
Now onto the downsides, which unfortunately there were plenty.
The road it is on is incredibly busy and loud, even through the night.
There is only hot water on a Friday to Sunday when the bubble car museum is open. Apparently this is some sort of money saving idea by the owner. Also, the advertised tearoom is only open these days too.
It is not explicit but you have to pay for the showers.
The toilet block is dated and dirty, I doubt it has had a deep clean in a while, there's spider webs everywhere. Manageable for a short stay but not the best.
The owner was present but despite a number of friendly greetings from us did not interact with us at all. She did not say a word to me throughout our whole stay (Richard, on the other hand, was present, friendly and willing to help at all times).
Finally, on the official website it is listed as a camping and caravanning club certified location, however, they are not affiliated with the camping and caravanning club at all.
Overall we had a good stay, the above didn't stop us from having a good week but I would not return in the future. Massive thanks again to Richard for all his help and thoughtfulness around the kids.

Absolute gem of a site. We travelled from Skegness and found a gorgeous small, quiet field bordered by lovely trees.
The gentleman who showed us where to park was just lovely - he even let us hire a log basket with wood.
Clean toilets, washing up etc and just £20 a night with ehu.
Can totally recommend this great little site.

This was our 2nd stay at this well maintained site,
Last year we had the whole family arrive on mass for my granddaughters Harry potter sports day party, and there was no extra charge for this ( or dogs ) and again this year we were told that the whole area was ours to spread out in ( 2 caravans I tent ) and family invaded saturday we had masses of room for water fights and ball games, thank you Rodger for this,
We are now planning to go back next year as fun seems to be encouraged ( the Bubble car museum is also worth a visit )
Thanks had a great weekend

Disappointed as site looked lovely when visited museum earlier. Booking was same price for just me with a small caravan as a family of four.
Misread price at £20 per night with EHU that was not powerful for heater.
Facilities very poor. No hot water. Was told the owner turns the heat down, shower was dated and extra cost
Toilets were foul smelling and never cleaned during my three night stay.
Can only agree with the poor comments with the exception of noise, I found it very quiet.
Several abandoned and shabby vans litter the site.
Will not be returning nor to the museum having been there three times. Perhaps the dust is not part of the exhibits but a reflection of the place as a whole☹️

We have just returned from a 2 night stay here.
Lovely little campsite. Very reasonable rates ( we paid £11 per night non EHU) Clean toilet block.
There is a 20p shower which looked fine but as we had family nearby we were able to shower there instead.
Plenty of space allowed between tents and everyone there was respectful of other campers.
The man who maintains the site is very friendly and helpful and resides in a caravan there.
The owner could do with a course on customer service. But Would recommend and would definitely use again.

Not as described. Shop on site was the museum shop selling gifts and home made jam and cider. Museum only open at weekends.
Convenience Food shop was 1 and 1/2 miles away. Supermarket over 5 miles away. Difficult for pensioners with no car. Bus had to be booked. No local service. No Covid regulations.
Hygiene in showers/ toilets not satisfactory

Liked- clean functional shower and toilets, washing machine on site, Richard the guy who helps run and maintain the site is helpful.
Priced reasonably- £11 per pitch /per night(no ehu for that)
Disliked- the lady who owns the site is rude, unfriendly and dour.
I was outnumbered 5 to 1 by permanent residents, who leave their toiletries in the toilet block as if its their own personal facility.
Cut grass not collected, and the owner wonders why grass is walked into the toilets.
Not much to do and see in this area of Lincs.
Boston is awful.
By far the worst thing though is road noise.
You are less than 40 metres from the busiest, most noisy B road ever.
This is a 60 mph road, and speeds of over that are common.
Its noisy from 6am to 11pm, and full of HGVs.
In my 30 yrs of camping, I have never known anything like it.
I rarely say I wont return to a site, but this is one I will avoid in the future.

Sorry to say we were disappointed with the site. Could do with a lot if updating and toilet/shower facilities very basic. Plywood partitions.
Main issue was of rats running around the site trying to get at bird food off a residents bird table. I know it's near farmland but you don't want to encourage rats especially if children are on site.
Won't be going back.

Level site easy access from main road.
Clean toilet and showers available. Shower was hot and 60p gave me plenty of time for a decent shower.
Had a look around the museum which was interesting and nostalgic.

Mixed review.
Pitch: Good level pitch with plenty of EHU points, water and showers. Wooded and sheltered, pleasant. Rally field with some more permanent residents.
Facilities: All the basic ones. Disappointed with the farm shop - didn't match the description on the website at all. Fine for sweets and cider. Showers eat 20 pences!
Location: Need a car to enjoy the area. Nice pub a few miles up the road.
Value: Good.
For families: plenty of space, but don't climb the trees!
Overall - Nice little site. Some entertainment for wet weather days. Easy to find. Good value.
