 Great site in the countryside, with small fishing lake, heated swimming pool.
Easy 1km to the Thriving Market town of Thiviers.
Super area to explore villages like Brantome, Excidiull and the château Hautefort and many beautiful villages in the Dordogne.
Shaded pitches and excellent facilities.

Reviewers - mature couple with campervan and bikes.
We chose this site from the ACSI book for an overnight stop.
The directions were fairly straightforward, though the site seemed to be rather a long way from the village on a busy road, then down a single track road. The reception was closed for lunch when we arrived so we waited in the car park outside.
The receptionist was very friendly and invited us to choose a pitch in a particular area. The site is built in terraces with chalets higher up in a wood, and a small lake at the bottom. There was plenty of grass, and the pitches were flat. They were arranged in clusters of 4 large pitches, and divided by a few low bushes. The EHU posts were at one corner, so you needed to check that your cable was long enough. The general feel was of a natural area with lots of birdlife, and little road noise.
The nearest sanitary block had separate sex showers but shared toilets, and not many of those. Not my favourite set up. It was quite clean though. There was another block over the other side of the site, which appeared to be in use.
The pool was nice, very quiet when we were there.
From the site, there is a footpath leads up the valley, past a sports centre and into the village. We took the bikes, but it was a bit of a push going up, took about 20 mins. The village had a few shops, and was worth a look round.
The site was ok, cheap with ACSI discount, and we would use it again, but weren't tempted to rush back.

A nice spot. Has recently changed from municipal to private hands. Looks a little unloved. Weeds inthe grass, mowing needed. Bit of paint here and there
French only spoken but we made do with my rubbish spoken french. Caravan pitches are a bit tight. You may need your motor mover or just get the best reverser to put it away
And bring your extra long cable. Pitches in groups of four all take power from one corner. Cost was 20 euro a night one of the most expensive ones we stayed.
