Not a great campsite, lovely pitches but close to road and windturbines, much farmland.
Good location to visit exmoor national park.
Facilities are ok but it is not really being in nature, if you want that, search on.

***NOT ADULTS ONLY*** so maybe the website should be updated however it wasn't actually annoying as there was so much space we were not overly bothered by children.
Stayed May 2015 for the bank holiday weekend. I called really last minute and the owner was very nice and said they were full but could squeeze us (2 adults, small tent) in as an extra.
Had no trouble finding the site based on the instructions.
Gently sloping field with lovely views, plus a small paddock with a tree.
Despite being 'full' the site had hardly any tents, so much space! Well, there was lots of space but still the next day someone came and camped about 3 meters away from us. Human nature eh? Massive field with lots of flat space left!
Pleasant and friendly welcome by the owner, really nice vibe. Quiet site. Y
Ou can order breakfast but we didn't do this although I saw these being delivered to other tents and looked lovely.
Freezer for recharging freezer blocks, decent shower and nice clean toilets.
We did a nice walk from the camp site, drove into the New Forest for biking and generally enjoyed relaxing in this nice spot.

Lovely site, very quiet, very pleasant. Great to not have kids running around. Plenty of space to pitch with lots of level areas. Washing up area, freezer, toilets and one shower. Never had to queue. The owners offered full cooked breakfast which they delivered to your pitch. Looked great though we didn't partake. Owners very helpful as I had forgotten my walking map.
Excellent value. Great not to be overcharged for the night I was on my own. Priced as pitch and per person.

We booked a pitch for two people for two nights. The campsite was in a small field near to the farmhouse so owners were nearby if needed. Facilities were very good and clean. The town of romsey was a short drive away with bars and a waitrose supermarket. There is a small barn with sink for washing up which was great. In the barn there is breakfast order forms which you fill out and leave in a box. Our breakfast was delivered to our tent the next morning and was delicious (one full english and one smoked salmon with scrambled eggs). Wanted to have a fire but there was a sign saying not to light firepits because the grass was to dry. Overall we had a lovely stay at strawberry fields campsite. The main website stated that it was an adults only campsite but when we arrived there were families with very young children this did not bother us but think maybe it should be changed on the website.

Excellent spot, very rural, down a long dirt track, I have three children and felt very safe letting them roam about. Bonus when we got there as found we had use of the fridge. Facilities were clean and convenient. The owners were very friendly, Paultons was a ten minute drive with a good child friendly pub with play area next to it so got a meal out for a family of 4 (one of my children is a baby!) for less than £20. Would definitely use again to visit that part of the country. Thank you

This lovely 28 day site is set well back from the rural bit of the A27 down a country lane & a dirt track & is very peaceful.
Only half a dozen tents when we were there & tons of space for littlies to play.
Gently sloping field with high hedges on the Westerly side, and a smaller field near to the house (which is run as a BnB by the charming owners)
Stayed Fri & Sat night whilst attending an Event locally & really enjoyed ourselves - made even better by the 'Deliver to Tent' breakfast service! Delicious local produce (eggs from the next field!) and piping hot.
With a Pizza bought in nearby Romsey (10 min drive) on Friday & a picnic out on Saturday it was a no cook weekend!
Facilities consist of a wash-up sheltered in an open-sided Barn (which has a v small selection of books/puzzles too), 2 loos each, for ladies & gents, & 1 shower in a trailer.
We were very comfortable.
Only suggestion is take rock pegs - very chalky ground.
