The location is not as shown on this site - it is about 1/2 mile east and I suggest look on Google maps for exact location.
We booked in for 4 nights but decided to move soon after arriving as pitch very narrow and next to field of maize, separated by only a wire fence.
Site not finished with hard-core for road and pitches. Opposite the 5 or 6 pitches appeared to be just weeds - taped off with metal posts.
Shower block for ladies had disabled shower and two more enormous ones but no hot water - despite pressing button marked hot water.
Toilet seats didn't fit the ceramic ware and the stainless steel fittings are starting to rust.
The site is totally open to the wind and our motor home rocked constantly all night.
Entry to facilities is with key fob - only one per van.
Good view of Mountains of Mourn when cloud allows.
Happily we were given a refund for the rest of our booking and hopefully some of the problems can be sorted soon.

Park staff were very nice and helpful,
The toilets and showers were spotlessly clean.
Plenty of space for children to play plus several playgrounds.
I would highly recommend this site.

Really big parking and hook up area for caravan. Didn't put up awning but loads of room. Easy hook up electric, water, drain at each bay.
Green area in front of caravan, play area and park for kids. Toilets and showers very close all spotless. Whole site well maintained. Not 1 single bad point.
Will def be back hopefully pretty regular in future when weather comes back in the spring AAA++

My wife and I found the caravan park was very nice,
It is set in a beautiful location, with beautiful views of the mountains,
We found everything to be in working order, water taps facilities etc.
We enjoyed our two night stay, we hope to return again sometime.
Kind regards
Jeff and Liz

After reading the reviews, we decided to spend a week here. When we eventually got our park number and settled in, we found it really clean and tidy park.
Cons- as said before, the touring park is at the bottom of park, a washroom for dishes would be a bonus as it is at entrance, too far.
The light in the park was not working, dark at 9pm and kids chased into caravans, hard to see way to toilets etc
Pros-showers fantastic, hot everytime, nice having a hairdryer provided too
Three great playparks over the whole caravan park, to suit all ages.
Had a great stay and made some new friends

This will be a short review. Everything about this site hits the spot, from the friendly and welcoming owners to the immaculate condition of all of the facilities. The beach is a ten minute walk away, through a National Trust nature reserve, and there is a regular bus to Newcastle that stops right outside the site (although it's a bit of a walk from the touring pitches to the entrance). Full marks. If only all sites were like this. Note that there is a laundry, but it's some distance away near the entrance. If emailing them about availability, check your spam folder, which is where all their replies ended up in my case!

We checked into Murlough Cottage Caravan Park yesterday and to say that we are pleased with the facilities is an understatement. This is the BEST caravan place that we have visited in Ireland as a whole. The toilet/shower block is immaculate and we have never been in one as clean as this within a caravan site. The touring site is also separate from static caravans. There is a huge grass area in the middle of the touring area which is kept well and safe for kids to play.
The play area for the kids is fabulous and again spotlessly clean. There is an area for dogs to be let off their leads which is safe. Our two dogs refuse to go to the toilet on the lead so this is ideal. I have never been to any other site which offers this much needed facility. The area is clean from dog mess and a bin is provided for waste when leaving the dog area. It is my view that this should be offered at every caravan site which allows dogs entry.
We will certainly return to this caravan site and have no hesitation in recommending it to others. It's a five star facility.

I have never been to any place that has been as clean as this. Not one bit of litter was found at any part of the site.
The showers and toilets were kept spotless no matter what time of day or night I went.
Dogs are welcome but never a bother to others, a dog walk way is also provided so they can be let off the lead.
Bins are placed around the site for dog mess but there was never a smell from the bins so they must be cleaned often.
Plenty of play areas but never hassle from the kids.
Everyone was friendly - from the owners to the regulars who stay there.
I doubt I will ever find a better site than this
