This is an excellent site if you wish to visit the Floriade which is on this summer, otherwise there is not much else in the area to do other than the usual cycling and walking.
There are 4 separate fields with about 12 - 20 pitches in each with their own hook-up and water taps nearby. The pitches are quite large but no actual markings so you can line up whichever way you like.
In each field is a small hut-like building with 2 toilet/showers in each. We did find there was a bit of a queue in the mornings but the rest of the time was OK. There was also another main building with 2 wash-up sinks outside and another toilet/shower each for ladies and gents. There was no laundry room.
You can hire bikes from the site at 7. 50 euros per day, but there is no shop nor can you order bread/rolls. The nearest supermarket is about 5 minutes drive away in either Grubbenvorst or Sevenum.
The owners were very helpful and spoke good English and we felt the site was rather like a large CL/CS site. At 20 euros a night (18 for ACSI members) it is not a cheap site but more than adequate for a few days stay.
It is about a 10-15min walk along the road and across a footpath to get to the car-parking area for Floriade from where you can just hop on a shuttle bus straight to the venue itself. Car parking at Floriade is 10 euros a day!
At the moment there a lots of new road junctions around as well as road -works (due to Floriade)and everybody seems to be getting lost trying to get there. Sat-navs are useless. It is easier to follow directions to Grubbenvorst itself and then follow the signs to Sevenum as there is a campsite sign at the crossroads.
All in all, a pleasant place and we would return if we were in that area again.
