We were recommended this site by friends who have stayed here for many years. The pitches vary in size and ours was one which was covered by ACSI and it was quite small.
Toilets had no toilet paper available and no seats but this wasn’t an issue. The showers were clean but rather on the small side.
It’s easy to cycle down a cycle path to the seafront where there were several restaurants and bars. It was also easy to cycle to the large Super you supermarket, which was too busy for our liking.
The pool was excellent and we had a delicious pizza from the restaurant on site.
On leaving we were presented with a bottle of Rose wine.
Lovely site but a long way to drive.

First thoughts were that the pitches looked a bit tight and the site overcrowded, however it was much better than we first thought. We had a friendly and helpful welcome and were told which pitches were available, there were only 4 and this was in June. This site operates a wristband system, to prevent non-campers from using the facilities, it's a simple cotton band which could easily be covered by a watch if it is a problem. Some potential customers in reception at the same time as us objected and left. We did not consider it an issue and were lucky to have pitch A27, quite a large pitch with shade and sun. So e pitches had full sun and were small. We would recommend looking at a pitch plan and reserving if possible. There is a 15m swimming pool plus the leg to form the L shape, with 2 whirlpools and also a free sauna. The pool was very busy when we arrived on the Sunday afternoon, but for the rest of our stay, including another weekend, I had it almost exclusively, but it did not open until 10. 30. The site is very convenient for walks and cycle paths, restaurants and shops and there is a small market in Grau d'Agde every day, with varying stalls, the busiest and most varied day seemed to be Thursday. There is a small supermarket in the town and next to it an excellent cave with very cheap wine. Large Hypermarket and other supermarkets in walking/cycling distance The sanitation facilities are average, and the showers are on a first floor, there is however a disabled facility at ground level. There is only one socket for hairdryer etc, but as the pitches have a 10amp supply it's not really a problem. The showers were warm but the washing up water was very hot. There is free wifi throughout the site. You are told that it is for 1 appliance but interchangeable, it is NOT interchangeable so beware of connecting say, on a phone when for most of the time you want to use a laptop or tablet. There are comprehensive areas with fitness equipment, children's activity area, table tennis, boules pitch and barbecue area, together with a dog walking area and football/volley ball pitch, within the confines of the site but outside the camping area. Bike hire is available from the reception, who telephone a hire company and the bike is delivered to the site. However we found a similar site on the Internet for half the price, (Velolowcost separate review) and used that one. For 12euros a night, with free wifi and the facilities we thought this site excellent value. We were able to pay the day before leaving and drop the electronic entry card into a letter box. We would definitely use this site again, very good rapport quality/price

We spent two nights here in April having had a look round whilst staying at neptune last year. The Acsi offer of 10 euros a night was too good to turn down. The staff at the site we very welcoming (reception and bar staff) althought it was fairly quiet when we were there. There seems to be a shiny new trampoline which my son loved and the pool area looked like it had been refurbished. The touring pitches could of done with a grass cut but the weather has been fairly unpredictable and they seemed to be making a start on this whilst we were there. The pitches are separated by very immature plants so don't give a lot of privacy but they do provide good pitch boundaries. The toilets and shower block were fine. We would definitely return either high or low season and the area is lovely with a short cycle ride to restaurants, supermarket and the beach.
