 We arrived at Cap D'Age after a long drive and had no site booked. Saw this one signposted as we entered town and being tired etc etc just chose this ad hoc. It's a huge site with a pool, bar restaurant etc etc. You can access the beach via a gate at the bottom end of the site. But for this privilege be prepared to be ripped off! We paid 32 euro per night for 2 adults, 1 dog and electrics. The pitch is not more than scrubland so you need a groundsheet of some sort. And we were overrun by Ants! So take some sort of bug killer. The loos/toilets/showers were fairly basic and no ladies/gents etc - just all one big toilet block. When I questioned the price it's because they are coming into their busy season but having said that the nearest loo block to us remained closed up and would not be opened until mid July. As stated previously, this was a last minute decision made when we were a bit weary after lots of driving and with hind site we could have driven 4 minutes up the road to another site where there are loads of little sites accessing the beach at a much cheaper rate. However the upside was that you could walk along the promenade to the beach and bars and endless restaurants. Easy walking distance into town and the harbour marina area. Again, you will be ripped off by the cost of the drinks/food but we had a very enjoyable night watching the French world go by!
Re the Site: No I would not recommend this one. Too expensive, poor facilities.
