Lovely campsite in a perfect location.
The pitches are large with low bushes highlighting the boundary.
Facilities are clean and more than adequate. Only thing to remember is to take your own toilet roll as this isn't provided.
With a cafe, shop, hairdressers, kids play park and various animals to keep you amused and supplied you don't have to leave the site!

Stayed Friday and Saturday. Night owners very friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. Nice flat pitch. Lots of open spaces. Toilets and showers very clean. Very peaceful and quiet. Plenty of space for children to run around and playing field close by.

We booked the for a last minute weekend break, and what a lovely site. Small but perfectly formed. Lovely large and level pitches, with small bushes bordering each pitch, which gave if a continental feel. The owners are very laid back which sums the site nicely. The owners only take cash but are pretty laid back about collecting fees. The shower block is new, was clean and tidy, ad were the toilets, but take your own loo roll. Right next to the site is a garden centre and local farm shop, plus a hairdressers!
Nearby is the Shoulder of Mutton pub, who serve good food and beer, take cash as they don't accept cards. A lively local pub. We cycle to Bures, some 3. 5 miles away, roads were quite but it is hilly. Had the worst coffee in the Eight Bells Pub ever, but Bures is lovely with riverside walks, and we arch a cricket match, very English.
We really had a nice break here amongst beautiful Suffolk countryside.

A nice site which is easy to find and access, signed from the main road (watch the sharp bend here), when you arrive you go through a kind of arch to reach the site in behind the cafe/retail outlets/garden centre, which is a first. Past the loos and showers, next right. The second field straight ahead is for rallies and has limited ehu.
The surroundings are attractive and there are walks around the site and down to the lakes, through a gate at the end of the rally field; from the lakes you can then walk in both directions for half a mile or so, good for your dog's daily shorter walk. There are various birds and animals in enclosures: Rheas, goats, a pony and a sheep (both these latter on their own, poor things).
The whole area is very pleasant to explore, lots of footpaths. The walks near Hadleigh are particularly good, and of course there are the old 'wool' villages. Sudbury itself is an attractive town; the nearest shops and garages are here, about 5 miles from the site.
The one thing that lets the site down is the rubbish area; this is enclosed in a wooden palisade so you don't see it, but when you have to go inside, there are hundreds of bags of rubbish just thrown on the ground and one bin. The owner did apologise about this and said he had been let down by the council, not sure if I believe that, but don't let this put you off.
It has several loos and showers, including disabled, but there are no loo rolls, no mirrors and nowhere to hang your clothes, but the showers themselves are good.
£14 per night, fair enough.

There's no toilet or shower block but that's all that lets the site down, the field is well maintained with large marked bays, plenty of power points and water outlets.
The complex has a farm shop cafe and salon which seems very popular with push bikers and hikers,
Will def be visiting again if am ever in the area they seemed to making a lot of improvements ready for the summer

Stayed for the first time August Bank Holiday weekend. Great site if you want a quiet relaxing holiday. Large grassed field with plenty of room between pitches with electric hook-ups. No toilet/shower block as yet, but owners are working on it. Site shop selling lovely homemade breads and local produce. Coffee shop and garden centre also on-site. Fishing lake just behind the site, full of carp. Lots of off road walks from the site and with quiet country lanes ideal for cycling. Village pub 5 minutes walk away. Owners very friendly and helpful. Will be going back soon.

A really lovely site spacious and shop cafe and more. The local pub 500 mtr. Away was friendly and really good food with entertainment.
One of the best sites I have stayed, however there is always a but and in this case it is the lack of a toilet/ shower block. With this it would get top marks, my kind of site. The danger with giving this site a full 10 I fear it would become too popular.
Nice understated part of the country and this site is ideally situated for Ipswich and Colchester or even the beach at Clacton.

This is recently established CS a few miles south of Sudbury. It is part of a Farm Shop/Tea Rooms complex and is well set up to cater for caravans, motorhomes, tents & rallies.
We stayed for 3 nights in mid November 2012 and we were the only ones there.
Prior to booking in September we called by the site whilst in the area and discovered that none of the hardstandings that were supposed to be part of the facilities had been installed However Trevor, the site owner, assured us they would be in place by the time we visited and, true to his word, two long strips of recycled asphalt had been installed adjacent to the hook-up points. There was a large grassed field opposite and a huge rally field further into the site. The CDP and refuse disposal area were central to the site and screened by timber fencing. The Tea Room toilet & wash basin are available during opening hours only. No showers are available but, as the site expands, there is a plan to install a toilet block.
As part of the site there were two cows, a goat, numerous noisy geese, three Rheas & a lone turkey as a sort of rural zoo! The Shoulder of Mutton pub, about 10 minutes walk away, was open all day and thus available to incorporate into any walks as a stopping off point.
The owners were very friendly and had time to chat. The cost per night was only £10 which we thought was good value. A dog friendly site which we would recommend to others for a relaxing break.
