Just spent a fantastic week here. We were lucky with the weather apart from one day, which was spent watching the wild sea from the caravan window. Our caravan was not new but was spotlessly clean, contained everything we needed and was very comfortable. The view is really breathtaking. The site is accessed via a well maintained stone road signposted well, but you do begin to wonder where you are going the first time! It has to be said the site is quite remote. The beach is made up of clean sand and rocky areas at each end it was great to let the children and dog play safely. Our hosts Terry and Linda were very friendly, welcoming and right grand folk. There is a bakery/grocers and a dog friendly pub in the village of Southend a mile or so away. Good luck with the new slipway Terry.
