This is a lovely quiet site with a warm welcome from the owners. You can even purchase your free range eggs out of happy hens from Sue. The facilities are simple but spotlessly clean. There is an environmental focus in line with the ethos of the Miserden Estate. Great walks and views from the site. Nearest pub in Miserden.

Stayed for one night midweek as a stopover to break up a longer journey. The site is an excellent balance between what is needed for a campsite and keeping things natural and blending with nature.
The pitches were very large and level. The views across the fields were really nice and it was very peaceful with no road or other noise. The facilities were of a good standard and clean. There is a dog walk that has been thoughtfully mown in to the field and local footpaths from the gateway.
The only downside was that we were only stopping one night and won't be able to return this year. Next year however, we're looking forward to staying for longer and to explore the local countryside.

On arriving we had the best welcome I have ever had from a site, and the information about local pubs, walks, places to go were freely given by Sue. Both Sue and Mike were superb hosts, nothing seemed to be any trouble. We had some blocks in their freezer and tried a couple of times to pick them up, but no-one was about. Then it started raining so we thought we would leave them till the following morning. Mike came over to our tent after the rain, and brought the blocks over to us. A fine gesture which was appreciated.
The site facilities look a bit ropey on the outside, but inside they were 5 star. Plenty of hot water, loo roll and always spotless.
Open the flap on the tent in the morning and the views are breathtaking. Being on top of a hill it did get a bit windy at times, but no-one can control the weather.
A superb site, and I have already recommended it to some friends. I will be definitely be staying here again next time I came back to this area.

On arrival with my family (two girls 12 & 13) we were taken with the beautiful views and rural nature of the site. The site is flat grass (possibly a bit long) with pitches backing onto a hedge with a wheat field behind. We had no problem pegging out and overlooked the meadows, wood, and hills beyond. There was no road noise.
At first my daughters were rather dismayed with the weathered look of the toilet and shower room in the old horse shed; however inside they were some of the best facilities we have come across (they had been completely refurbished just before we arrived).
There is one shower and one toilet which was fine for us, we were they only people on site for most of the week, and could get busy if the site had more units; my only suggestions for improvement would be to provide a roof over the washing-up sink and hot water supply to it.
The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and by having a motorhome they have a great understanding of what guests want from a site.
The Cotswolds are a beautiful area and this site is a great place to explore the area, especially only being 20 mins from the Cotswolds Water Park and other attractions. There are also some very atmospheric pubs a short drive from the site, and local walks through the woods and along the nearby stream.

We stayed at this campsite in June and were given a very warm welcome by the owner.
The facilities are basic and excellent. We use the facilities in our motorhome mainly and love staying at rural campsites.
The field is mainly level and has outstanding views of the countryside and we were speechless at the fantastic sunset we witnessed on the night we stayed.
We would highly recommend this beautiful campsite and will definitely stay again the next time we visit the cotswolds.
