First time at this site which I must say has lovely views, peace and quiet. This was a family and friends weekend and the weather was brilliant- I would certainly go again except for one major drawback- the absolutely appalling toilet block facilities which are advertised as in working order!-I think not.
On arrival we found no apparent fresh drinking water was available, a quick phone call to the farm, and was told that the tap and hose used for cleaning chemical toilets could be used as drinking water. Going back to the toilets, Day 1 they all failed to flush, rendering them blocked. Day 2 no toilet roll in one of the two toilets, not cleaned, no proper hand washing facilities, no soap no drying towels, oh yes and still blocked. I could go on.
Until these issues change, I wont be back but if the moneys made selling logs to campers were saved up, then within a couple of years there may be functioning facilities.

Great campsite but facilities let it down !
We have just returned form Osney Lodge which is fundamentally a field with a portacabin for facilities, Two gents toilets, three ladies toilets, No showers, No hot water. This I knew before going, what I didn't know was that the drinking water, in fact all of the water would periodically stop working or would dribble out that it would take 5mins to fill a kettle (or it seemed like it).
The farmer was happy to come and fix it, which I suspect is a constant thing.
The view from the site is beautiful, the field has no marked out pitches and allows fires (off the ground) and has a nice relaxed atmosphere. There are no child facilities part from fields and space, you are away from the road which is good.
Would I go again. NO if the water situation isn;t sorted out permanently.

Osney farm quiet site with lots of space.
Its very basic a large field with 1 bloke of toilets.
Its ran by very nice people who are more than willing to help, they visit the field quite often checking everything is ok and asking if there's anything that you need that they could get you from beer to ice lollys.
They also allow fires aslong as it in a basket (which they can hire if you need 1)
We really enjoyed our stay there its only 40mins from where we live so its perfect for a cheep last minute weekend away.
We are going back soon and plan many more little weekends away at osney farm.
The only bad things are they are no showers and the water pressure isnt very good in toilets or the water carrier tap other than that couldn't fault the site

We Stayed at Osney Lodge Farm at the End of June and found it to be a very enjoyable experience. You pay per tent and ours being a 4 person (1 Adult and 2 children at the time) was only £11. A small 1-2 is £8 then 2-5 £11 and 5-8 being £15 Camper/Caravan being £15 as well. There are 3 large tents already located on the field and these are available to hire from a separate company.
Location is very good on flat ground and recently cut grass. You can choose your own pitch (on a first come basis) and we picked one at the front overlooking the impressive view. Alternatively we could of pitched under the trees which provide good shade.
Facilities are also very good, fresh drinking water (useful for washing kids feet too), chemical waste disposal and separate very clean ladies and gent toilets (Gents had 2 proper toilets provided with loo roll, and two sinks with mirrors and hand wash - I didn't venture into the ladies but assume an equally high standard for a camp site), there is however no electric hook up or showers.
Self contained BBQ's and raised fires are allowed, but NO pit fires. Self contained burners available to hire.
Just a short 8 minute walk away is the Jolly Farmer Public House, selling real ales, ciders and popular beers. In the opposite direction, a 5 minute drive, is the traditional unspoilt Fox and Hounds Country Pub, which dates back to 1601. A friend went to the Jolly Farmer pub for Sunday lunch and said it was very good.
The kids played in the woods and on the rather large field and had a ball. Being a farm there were plenty of animals to look at/feed grass to.
The only downside to our stay was that some of the grass had not been cut and my older girl suffers from hay fever. She still managed to have great fun despite.
Overall 8-10
