We have just returned from a weekend here. We met our friends in their new motorhome. We had the site to ourselves. A flattish square field with hard standing, electric hook up that didn't trip even with an electric heater on high. It was a cold weekend. The water point is fairly close and there is an elsan point. That is it! This place is easy to find and we loved the simplicity and good electric hook up. It is immaculate and is a joy to visit. We have booked to visit again in June. Thank you for a great weekend.

This is our favourite site and one we have visited numerous times. The site is surrounded by arable farmland with access from Scarborough road being a up long tarmacked driveway and consists of 5 hardstandings with hookups located around a large square mown grassed area. There is a water point beside the garage building and an elsan dump situated behind the owner's large dwelling - and that's it. Heaven.
So if you want a heated toilet block, piped music or any other luxuries, this is not the place for you.
But if you like the country, enjoy the entertainment provided by an assortment of chickens, and use your own facilities it's splendid.
Filey is just over a mile away, the Cleveland Way along the clifftop is only a few hundred yards from the site and there is a bus stop at the bottom of the driveway with regular buses plying north and south making Filey, Bridlington, Scarborough and Whitby easily accessible.
But please don't tell anybody else about the site as it could then become too popular and we might not be able to get in!

This is one of the best-kept sites we have visited for a long while. Sited on a working farm and close to local amenities (within staggering distance of the Filey nightlife!).
We have 2 dogs so being able to walk straight off site onto the Cleveland Way was a real bonus. We took the owner's advice and walked along the cliff tops to Scarborough (8 miles) and caught the train back (only £5. 40 return for two!).
All hardstanding with well-groomed lawns this is such a pretty site, quiet and very welcoming, even the chickens scratching around are so laid back. We will return very soon.
I think the site would benefit from a toilet/shower but we coped just fine for a weekend.
