This is a perfectly acceptable site, although not the wonder I had been led to expect by a recommendation. No views for a start, some traffic noise which would be annoying if you wanted to relax outdoors on site and lots of flies around when the sun comes out.
It is actually 2 sites, a CL with loads of space for 7 vans, which is the first site you come to, and a more expensive commercial site at the fishing lakes further on. We are on the CL which costs £10 per night for ehu and chemical waste disposal. It's reasonably level but some parts do get waterlogged after heavy rain. It has 2 hardstandings, but if Sky tv is important, be aware that you can't get a signal on these as there are trees in the way. There is no such problem on the other side of the field. There is a barrier at the entrance but can see no reason for it as there is no code, you just press the button.
It's very easy to find from the M40, about 3 miles away, so would make a good stopover if you don't mind using your own facilities. Junction 13 from/to the south, junction 14 from/to the north. There is a handy retail park about 2 miles away off the A425 in the direction of Leamington, with a huge Sainsbury's and the cheapest fuel around, Ben and Jerry's, Next etc.
It is very handy for Warwick, Kenilworth, Coventry and Stratford but there are nicer sites in the area.
Payment is requested upon arrival, at the wooden hut up the road towards the fishing lakes. They also sell free range eggs, veg, sweets etc.

Have visited this site many times. Excellent location, fantastic views over the lake. Friendly owners who are always willing to give info on local attractions, otherwise they leave you alone. Level pitches on well mown grass.
The whole site is maintained to a high standard with plenty of space between units. The waste disposal is a bit primitive but I have come across a lot worse!
The barrier exists because it is a working farm and any steps taken to disuade unwanted 'visitors' is to be welcomed.
Shops and other amenities are close by and the site is only a few minuted from the Mway. Warwick about 2 miles and Stratford -on-Avon approx 12 miles distant
