We were welcomed to the campsite and shown around, the WC's and shower were very clean. There is a fridge / freezer available for use by campers and some sockets to charge appliances.
The site is a flat field, with very well spaced pitches, each pitch was huge.
Fire pits can be hired.
There is a lovely pond where fishing is allowed or just sit and watch the wildlife.
The best thing about our stay was the peacefulness of the site, just a great way to relax and unwind, will definitely be returning.
Thank you very much for a really well run peaceful campsite.

We could not have been happier with School House Farm.
After going slightly off course ( our fault) we rang the site and the owner guided us in and stood outside waving. What a great start.
We were made very welcome from the start, after we had been given the run down we had a lovely chat before we set up our home for the weekend.
A good looking and peaceful site with spotless toilets and shower, ponies, chickens and a fantastic micro car museum which we were shown around by the owners son who was so full of enthusiasm it made it even more enjoyable.
Ideally situated for a trip on the East Kent and Sussex steam railway (recommended)and on the Sunday there was an event at Headcorn airfield which was very good. Headcorn also has a small aviation museum which is worth a visit.
All in all I would recommend School house farm to anyone looking for a quiet getaway, we certainly will go again.

We are a Dutch family of 2 parents and 3 children. We stayed at this campsite for 3 nights at the beginning of our holiday in Britain. And did we love it!
School House Farm is less than 15 minutes from the M20 and less than an hour’s drive from / to the Dover ferries (and the Channel tunnel). The site is easily to be found, and easily accessible. The pitches are level, mown, very spacious with loads of space between. The facilities are basic but immaculate, just as we like them to be. The hot shower is perfect!
School House Farm is situated in a beautiful peaceful setting, there are great walks and there are very nice villages nearby. A pub is in walking distance. There is a fishing pond as well.
Staplehurst is well situated to make day trips. We visited Leeds castle, which is highly recommended. Another nice day trip is the south coast with the ancient town of Rye and the R. H. D. R. Railway, just to mention a few of its highlights.
The owners are very friendly and helpful. No surprise we were very happy to spend another 3 nights before our return to the Continent.
We enjoyed every minute of our stay. We say: go and find out for yourself!
Good luck with your newly started campsite. Thank you so much, we definitely will be back!
